32 minutes in and i am amazed at what this guy understands about the world. He sees the huge game of chess that life is and he's studying it, becoming a master.
I like how the guy doesnt just regurgitate party-lines and phrases and that he gets that life isnt black n white but a thousand different shades of grey.
Mint episode I had to hike for 2 hours to finish it. Micah has me rethinking some things I’m doing in my life. A real thinking persons episode. Thanks Micah for sharing your views and great questions Mike.
Wow Mike, after the first 10 minutes I was hooked. This is one your best interviews! I love how you guys discuss what a real warrior is- standing up for the right things no matter what.
Totally agree- there’s a lack of the warrior mentality- the kids today have no idea what it is to fight for values & this country. We grew up in the best of times but I seriously worry about our kids & their kids. Thank you guys for serving for our freedom 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@kimberlylevin2191 Yes, at least I can say my girls and my nephew will be raised right. Love and value the USA, veterans, and love the Lord. We need to bring prayer back to school.
@@kennethdennis40 wow, that’s a serious burn!! 😂 Someday someone will introduce you to “your mama” jokes, and you’ll be able to level up your insult game!
I love this guy. But he was able to get into the Navy and become a SEAL with his background, meanwhile I was discharged in Navy bootcamp for “fraudulent enlistment” in 2014 as a direct result of listening to my recruiter when he told me “just say no about that part” on one of the boxes on my medical questionnaire about a topic that I had already disclosed to him and provided prescription records for. It’s sickening how lopsided things can be.
I'm getting a Jim Jones/David Koresh free association in front of a microphone vibe outta this guy. He comes from a long line of ancestors making poor decisions but claims to have it all figured out at age 44. Ummmm, me thinks he will look back on this in 20 years and say to himself...I had it about 60% right. --- I can't wait for episode 2
Coming from George Jeston. So to afraid to put yourself out there, but not afraid from the internet keyboard to dig on a stranger. He’s not wrong and if you listened he’s not starting a milita or a following he’s helping vets find their way to themselves and not the drug pushers at the VA or the head shrinkers who just want to spend session after session letting someone talk and never really helping get the Vet anywhere. If your doing something to help vets send us a link.
My favorite memory as a child was when I lived in Flagstaff Arizona I was allowed to run wild we lived in the middle of nowhere no running water or electricity I went way out in this alligator juniper forest and came across an abandoned adobe house and it had a huge pit net to it filled with old bottles like the ones you always see people digging for 2 old Tonka trucks they were orange dump trucks with 70s Chevy pickup looking cabs there was something next to the house at one time but whatever it was had burned down I was checking out what the fire had done and in one corner I found 324 dollars in silver dollars and a bunch of silver quarters and silver mercury dimes but my father being a drug addict took them from me and I never saw them again my father was a horrible person he had even urinated on me to wake me up he did a lot of things that dehumanized me and made me feel less than worthless so happy childhood memories are far and few between .
You were not alone in the scam Micah, I was scoop by these same individuals as were several others. I compiled a list of people that lost also. Reach out if you need any additional info and I’d be happy to share my story with ya.
Let’s be honest with ourselves. The war on terror was a complete waste of human lives, money, and time. For any veteran that may read this can you honestly say you made a difference in the world 10 years from now? All of the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears have been more than forgot about. It was a huge black eye for our country (once again) a way worse than Vietnam. I am curious to hear veterans perspectives on how they will explain the difference they made for future generations. The sacrifices made have all but been forgotten. We can of course blame the elected officials but at the end of the day the blame lies on us. The terrorists were way more resilient and prepared when we were not.
I enjoy listening to your podcasts about real American heros. I think Micah Fink is right on target about raising his family. I only wish you could minimize the use of the f--k word. If you could do that, then people like Micah Fink could let their families listen to the podcast. Consider a podcast about American Heros (Warriors) for the family - ok maybe a separate channel. I really think young people would respond to the leadership attributes.
Gritted my teeth through 22:00 minutes of this "whack job's" ramblings. This, and Mike's hypocrisy is why I stopped watching this podcast for a while. p.s Get "Sawman" on.
