DISTRA: Disease trajectory prediction tool based on Artificial Intelligence
Analysis of disease trajectories to understand the impact of a specific disease on the prevalence or probability of developing another disease. The objective is to identify possible relationships or influences between different diseases and provide information to improve the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients.
To solve this problem, an epidemiological analysis has been carried out using data from patients with different diseases. Longitudinal patient data is collected and analyzed, which means that information about patients is recorded over time to observe the progression of diseases and the relationships between them. Prevalence comparisons are made before and after suffering from a specific disease to evaluate whether there is a causal or associative influence between the diseases studied.
The tool will be able to estimate probabilities both for the population and for unique patients, allowing for Personalized Medicine.
