Welcome to Easy Hand Works..
In this video, we will see how to work out Closed Herringbone Stitch. I have used two strands of Pearl Cotton threads to accomplish this..Even beginners can work out this stitch in the first go, if done carefully with dedication. This stitch is very easy to learn. Herringbone stitch is a very beautiful stitch that can be used to fill in Petals of flowers, different leaves and also stem portions in a very attractive elegant way. This same stitch is often used on the wrong side of the fabric while doing shadow work embroidery and chikankari embroidery. This video is explained in Malayalam. We will get an idea about how the stitch can be used easily to produce beautiful boutique works..
