3 months using the Hesacore grip. I recommend this grip. I learned to use the grip as a tool. A tool that provides me real time actionable information. The connection between the paddle and my hand is elevated with more points of contact. This increased input provides feedback and information that a traditional grip cannot offer me. It creates a higher level of awareness for me. Faster adjustment to the amount of pressure I’m applying for specific shots. Easier transition between grips continental and eastern. Increased confidence during dinking, backhand flicks, backhand rolls, paddle battles, and resets. The grip enhanced my mental game which has yielded improved game play. The use of our 5 senses to learn and adapt is amazing and this grip truly lends to feel/touch during game play or drilling. It’s sounds simple in away but I make better decisions with the Hesacore grip.
Another tip for putting on a Hesacore is to soak the Hesacore grip in HOT water for a little while and put it on your handle while still moist. Be careful because it will still be hot, but if you can get one on (and the key is to do so WITHOUT tearing it), they're a lot of fun and will also help keep your grip in continental!
If you have a friend with golf club grip solution then that would probably help the most. Definitely read all installation directions and don’t try to put these over the stock grip like way too many have tried even though they clearly say not to. 🤦🏻♂️
He sounds like he is my therapist trying to calm me down after listening to this video.. "Just relax, take a deep breath and think of a cool running stream"...
IMO the best part of grips like this is injury prevention. Sometimes people tends to grab their handle way too hard, especially once they feel their paddle twists or turns. But such hard grabbing while using muscles will greatly burden wrist, elbow, and shoulder, eventually can bring bad muscle or tendon injury in long term. Grips can help to grow a good habit of loose grabbing, which will be better for our arms.
An easier way to put it on is to use a bit of non stick cooking spray on your grip. Not a lot but enough to make it a bit slick. Rub a paper towel on it to spread it evenly then it will slide in without issues. Otherwise, it can rip.
