The “wizard“ you mentioned was named John Dee and he was a key advisor to Queen Elizabeth I. Sadly I know too much about him. I was obsessed with him while I was in the occult. He became the template for the modern interpretation of the wizard in storytelling (think Disney’s Fantasia-long white beard, blue robes, pointy hat) starting with Shakespeare.
I never took astrology “seriously” growing up Christian, but different people I was interested cared about astrology. I still looked to someone’s sign for validation of my relationship with them, especially if they were being cryptic and not communicating their intentions. I can see how this was really dangerous for me as a young teenager and caused me to give my heart and time to people who were not Christians. Thanks for sharing your experience and reproving the works of darkness.

I also dabbled in this back in the day but not to the extremes that a lot of people do/did. I knew my sign but I could never wrap my brain around the rest of it. Beyond my ‘sign’ I lost interest. Now I’m SO happy I gave it all up!

I have yet to watch this video entirely but I have to say thank you for being a voice to speak out on this! A few years back when I was in rebellion towards God I got drugged into zodiac, tarot cards, meditation, trying to lucid dream, and I thank the lord I didn’t get pulled in to these things any further than what I did. The biggest thing was zodiacs, I was really into those and I feel so awful because my friends ( at the time) were pulled into my interests as well.

Off topic but Ive been thinking about recently about different things that were in the old testament and stuff and how they are probably relevant today even if we dont think so. Or how we've become very materialistic and dont believe in spiritual beings anymore etc..

Actually I had lot of problems because of it, but never really did a step back to think why it was bad. For sure it felt exhausting and like you were in a closed trap. Now, long after I gave back my heart to Christ, seeing this I think "It’s a written circle of animals. And you would think it has any impact on you? Obviously something is wrong here. Also looks familiar to these forbidden cults, lol (but actually not funny at all)".
