N64 knowers, is this a real stackdump? It feels like it's just a visual effect and Simple might not have had to reset, since it doesn't cover the whole screen. Also, the (emulated) console is still playing audio (Mario's scream) which it couldn't do it if the game had actually crashed, right?

HackerSM64 comes with a full self-contained debug suite featuring a stack trace, function names, disassembly, and asserts (on top of the default n64 crash screen that shipped with a bunch of games that has the register dumps and cause of the crash) tl;dr decomp is awesome

additionally, the game thread is usually the one that crashes when something goes wrong, and the crash screen thread takes over once it stops. The sound thread (as well as all the OS level thread it needs) is still alive at this time so sound can still play.

@@zitronenwasser I still think the VOD channel should be SimpleFlicks rather than SimpleClips, and this one should be SimpleClips. Feels much more fitting that way.
