Your reviews and ebike videos are 10000x better than Jeremiah's. He's so boring. And that voice - like a fine wine. Fresh should be king of the electric bike world!
This is actually an Impressive package. I like that it's foldable, excellent demonstration, thank you. The wife says I could buy two of these for the price of one Pedego (Pedego Electric Bikes are also made in Taiwan, Vietnam, and China).
Pedego is overpriced and misleading! They pretend to be American made, but we know the truth. Overpriced franchisees trying to game the system. Heybike is a much better buy.
Update: we took a long ride last night on the Heybike Ranger, and were impressed with the speed of the 500 Watt motor. On a flat sidewalk, we reached about 23 MPH easily with throttle only. Check out the ride video on this channel.
We bought two of the Heybike Mars, and we love them! Wish we knew about the Ranger. The wife (61 years old, 5"3) would be able to mount it a little easier. Might sell her Mars and buy her one of these. Great video as always. I always laugh when I see Heybike ads on Facebook with 20 year olds. Younger people HATE ebikes LOL
LMAO! We told Heybike the same thing, but they're not listening. Most trendy 20-somethings are embarrassed to ride electric bikes! Espin and Himiway seem to be doing well targeting 50+.
BEST ASSEMBLY VIDEO out there for this bike! Thank you! Once I started reading the included manual, I thought to myself, "Uh oh," someone just learned the English language (ex., Firstly, Secondly, Orderly, etc.). After watching the poorly edited official HeyBike video I considered sending the bike back. Once I watched your video, then all was good with the world. The bike manual should simply have a QR Code to your video. Thanks again!
We've actually asked Heybike for other colors when they sent us the Mars. They've largely ignored us. Maybe it's a translation thing, who knows. They did offer the Mars in yellow for five minutes, but it looks like they're back to their black and white ways.
Where is it going? Hope it’s going well! We actually removed the rear reflector, and it gave felicia another inch lower. She’s 5’3” and fits on it fine.
Just got mine today. Front calipers are grabbing the disc. I thkught i was installing the wheel wrong but, guess not. How to i adjust this style of calipers?
I have had issues with the handle stem of ranger. Even though it's supposed to move while trying to adjust while standing with both feet on the side. It isn't supposed to when you are riding. If I do a slightly heavy turn the tire just stays in that place and the handlebar moves whereever I move. I have spent hours on that stem making it tight. I even contacted the customer service and they sent me a new stem and the same issue persists. Is anyone else having this issue. I am trying to return this product as I'm tired fixin that thing. Everything else is perfect. Just the loose handle stem. It twists and its like the tire and the handlestenm crisscross 5:50
WARNING! LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR AN EBIKE. THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENT. WE BOUGHT 2 OF THESE. JUST ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO AND BATTERY ON ONE IS NOW NOT TAKING A CHARGE. IT'S A DEAD BRICK NOW. THIS IS RIDICULOUS FOR THE MONEY... AND AFTER SPECIFICALLY TAKING EXTRA CARE WITH THE BATTERY. IN ADDITION, LOCAL BIKE REPAIR SHOPS WON'T EVEN TOUCH IT TO CHANGE A FLAT TIRE!
There are a LOT of things that can affect a battery. Heat, moisture, storage, how many charging cycles you have on it, has it been dropped, have there been power surges during charging... two years is a pretty good run for any e-bike battery, regardless of the brand. Sadly, they don't last forever. Also, to be honest, most of these bikes and batteries are built in the same few factories. Other companies print their names on the SAME EXACT COMPONENTS and charge 3x as much! My advice? Buy a new battery and continue to be happy. We're still riding our Heybikes.
@@chronicpainwarrior Welcome to America. Yes, we are often provided demonstration products to make videos. But we actually BOUGHT this one from Amazon.
@@FreshandFelicia right... "welcome to America..." hahah where folks like you take free crap from folks overseas and tell other Americans... "oh yeah.... this crap is great..." and the cycle goes on... You may wish to tell people unless they can work on THIS bike themselves they're probably going to be out of luck in America for repairs.
@@FreshandFelicia While what you say may be true... you're quick to dismiss the short/iffy battery life when you may want to ask how many hours it was used in that 2 years etc.... FYI It was babied and never dropped or exposed to questionable conditions because let's face it, these batteries are risky as far as safety/fire goes so you must treat them as such. Listen, I loved my HEYBIKE too, until there were problems... and bike pros refused to work on them. I'm just asking for a more realistic review which you don't care to give; because perhaps if you highlight the shortcomings about one product whether you bought it with your own hard earned $$$ or not, then maybe other sponsors will think twice about throwing you a bone in the future?
