Surprised she didn't ask you to price the stuff and stack it on the shelves. The company your doing this for should at the very least provide you with a sack cart.
After so many years, I remember this work fondly, even though it was difficult. Cigarette thefts were common. The last job I did in the UK was Maritime until 2019.
Broski. I would have flipped lol 😆 not only have you delivered her goods to her front door, she also wanted you to unload every single item from the cashes and dollies for her. She's having a laugh!
I used to go out with 28 drops every day. No way I would have had time to do all this. I would have left the cages outside the shop and driven off... The other driver always brings it into the shop. Course he does, you must think I was born yesterday
And the lady didn't even come out behind the counter, didn't even say how thankful she is and after all didn't even give you a 59p cold drink to cool yourself down. If it was me after the first cage I'd have said: thank you ma'am, from now DIY, bye now! Next drop. Or next agency :D
To be fair I didn't expect her to help me with anything. I just done my job and that's it. Well I cannot teach people to say thank you and to offer drinks. They should do this as gratitude :)
@@RobertMihalache I'm a multidropper too and have very hard shops to do aswell. I just noticed the same attitude of the shoppers when they see you're struggling and they're just too busy to help you to pack THEIR sh*t. :D I'm actually envy your positiveness. I "punish" the shops that I don't like. :D
Thanks a lot for your feedback mate. Honestly there are so many lazy people that does not want to help especially if I am nice to them you know, but still they are how they are I can’t change them unfortunately haha take care mate
@@viktorkovacs2363 well you can't please everybody especially when she looks miserable when talking to her delivery supplier dosent even offer or ask her colleagues to help but I guess that's expected in this country never thanked never helped not even a hello just a oh put that there without the cart
I’ve done and do deliveries and collections and sometimes they help me with the items I’m collecting and I always say thank you and have a great day when I’m done loading and have been handed the paperwork. I try to be a professional and polite courier driver.
@@RobertMihalache When i started my class 2 three years ago. I worked for Brakes (exactly like Booker as you know) on agency. I've always been invited back to Brakes, but then i started working for a regional dairy delivering milk to premier shops etc and i got offered full time permanent. I love the job and been there ever since and never looked for another job. Easy, light, clean work
I know Brakes I used to work through an agency for Fresh Direct and was Central London 10-15 jobs hard to access sometimes stairs loads of stuff to carry very hard job compare to many jobs. Well done man feeling happy for you that you have found the right job for you
Dude, ask if it's possible to wheel the trolley inside the shop. A lot of customers will allow this and makes it less back breaking for you. As customers, they should try to make it as easy as possible. The less time you are around people, the better during these covid times. I use these trolleys every day in my job and we wheel these right into the shop and offload inside on the floor next to their fridges
Well…say that to drivers who got their backs destroyed and not only backs. That’s a tough job and I would say that every driver dreams about a job where just driving is required. My first job as an class 2 was palletised potatoes bags delivery. It killed my back mate and even a easier job now reminds me about it every day.

Just leave the trolleys and go. You don't get paid enough to be treated like a skivvy and pay and working conditions in the country won't improve until the workforce fight back.

Asa ar trebui ca soferul sa fie sofer. Am refuzat multe job-uri de carca pe class 2 si apoi am stat acasa fara bani. Cateodata mai faci si job de caca maca. Treaba este ca majoritatea nu apreciaza oamenii care muncesc, ci dau cu pietre in ei...
@@RobertMihalache De ce nu faci class 1 și mergi la tesco pe contract depinde cine are contractul de transport cu ei in general e Stobart la centrul logistic care sunt eu e DHL sunt la contract de 4 zile pe sapt fără Stress
Am dat de 2 ori de class 1 si nu am luat examenul. Mi-am gasit de ceva timp alt job pe class 2 unde bag ore putine, bani ok si sunt aproape de casa si am contract
