@@gregshearer423 Go and educate yourself and you will find it seeps down into the water table contaminating the water source. Any oil just left to fall onto the ground is unprofessional and shoddy

DID 4 years in mechanics when i left school 1980-1984 . CITY , GUILDS 380/ 381 43 yrs back . NO ecu computer vechiles then GPS TRACK / MOBILE PHONES DASHCAMS / CCTV / SAT NAVS . IT WAS basic nuts & bolts . engineering& FReedom of open road when u left the yard . Until when u got back u were u own boss . NOW 1990-2023 ITS much easier to just drive trucks with AUTO gearboxes do as PC says . & 59 now by 2030 THE END petrol/ diesel engines . ILL be retiring &66 THEY CAN KEEP electric TRUCKS/ vechiles. GRANDAD started with STEAM trucks in 1920S/ 1930S . Then went to diesel after ww2 1945 .
