Ok, so here are the things that I liked the most: Korsica has a folder on her PC labelled „Cat GIFs“, a browser window reading „how to make your boss proud/how to impress your boss“, the fact that Kale just forgot to remove her email account, Zanzo being muted during the zoom call and both Korsica and Kale complaining about the coffee machine only putting out decaf.
@@King_of_Gamers2099 one last bit of payback, he had gotten assigned to work in what was essentially a death trap, and he knew it so he switched all coffee machines to decaf to get the last laugh
@@King_of_Gamers2099 like it's horrible They sent the robot to repair the coffee machine in the worst place A rocky areas with lava all over He got so mad that he just put firmware update to make everything Decaf
There's this one moment if you try using 808's Special Attack "Steal the Show" during Kale's boss fight, he'll say "You think that'll work? I'M A DOG PERSON" 🤣🤣
When this game opened with Chai pathetically rolling around and crying I burst into tears of laughter. For some reason that scene is just so well-acted??? The voice cast's performances + the animators were so good throughout the entire game.
@@robertbernard7844 Chai is 25!? No way you're buffing? I thought he was at least 18-20. I mean going off his height of course. Compare to other adults we see in this game like Kale.
@@sleepylmguy9968 When Chai was submitting his application form in the intro cutscene, the age section had 25 written in it. And according to his post-game profile, he's apparently a college dropout. I don't blame you for being surprised, though. I honestly thought he'd be in his late teens too. Edit: Also, Peppermint is 23, just to blow your mind even more.
" Do you have ANY idea how difficult it is to make something people actually want to buy? It's ridiculously hard!" - Kale from my experience, he's speaking facts.
If you focus on 808 alone, there's a lot of funny moment especially when she imitate Chai. And I just know today that there are 2 special attacks utilizing 808 in real funny way.
Chai: I can hit robot with my fake guitar! Peppermint: "I think it's because of-" Chai: I can HIT robot with my FAKE GUITAR! Peppermint: "Yes, because your arm is replaced by" Chai: NO I DON'T THINK YOU UNDERSTAND I CAN HIT ROBOT WITH MY FAKE GUITAR! Hi-Fi Rush if it's triple A game about rockstar that can parkour and has convoluted isekai storyline
worked out for them, game was a massive hit, sitting at 98% overwhelmingly positive on steam, and all over social media with clips, fan art, and even haters lmao.
i dont think they need marketing for a game that is basically "lets give our devs, animators and voice actors the theme, and the base design, and then let them come up with something"
I have a feeling that the defunded zanzo fight was an on the nose joke about them literally having not enough budget to make the fight, hence they cut it.
naah everything surrounding it, along side voicelines, animations etc makes it more expensive than actually having a bossfight. in movies that could be true, but in games it's not
@@enqu4770 didn't she and Chai fall off of the train cart thing? I think she has at least 5. Chai's fine though because there's not really much more a head injury could do to him
@@jeremytung1632 that was before she got any of those concussions tho, wasn't it? ... Implying she may have already had a few sets of concussions before joining Vandelay-?
In one of Zanzos' levels, you can come across a tablet where some robot was getting let go, so in revenge, it sent out a firmware update to all the coffee machines to only produce decaf. I just love how after reading that log, all the other character just complain, to the point where this small inconvenience was enough to annoy the bosses.
I like how if you do the matth for how many years the sign at 6:00 is, its 2,724,776. implying this city has been around for a very very very very very very long time
Well. One of the dialoges say "candela decided make a new day for the week" or something like that, so, im pretty sure can be less time or probably no more years, justs days of working.
42:00 is definitely one of my favorite moments because, no joke, I am like that. I'll sometimes use a big word and later Google it to make sure I used it correctly.😅
When they hit you with the build up to the cannon plan, even though it's obvious the exact single braincell plan Chai's about to hit the team with, it is no less hilarious. This game's comedy is on another level
when one of the employees before release asked about marketing "sir what about marketing?" "what are you talking about?" "MARKETING" "we spent the budget already"
With a main cast THIS good, I don’t think it’s any surprise this game is so funny. Robbie Daymond and Erica Lindbeck ALONE could have carried it, but add in Gabe Kunda and Sunil Malhotra and you’ve got one hell of a combo.
I think both of them are funny in their own ways. It's rather unfair to compare them since the ways they deliver their comedy is different from each other. High On Life relies on jokes and gags, while HiFi Rush relies on the comedy pacing in their plots.
I I couldn’t figure out either till after I got Korsica and when I noticed she can manipulate the generators, well that ticked for me instantly as there is a generator in that room.
It is - the developers had to ask Square Enix for permission to use the scene as it is such a one to one reference to Xenogears, and they actually got it!
Probably because people might want to hug the robot, and therefore giving a gel substance on the other side makes it more... Comforting. You still know its a robot due to the metal chest, but the "squish" makes it a tad more comforting.
