Yeah back then, most of the singers would not make it in the industry without raw talent. Now a days, you don’t have to have much talent to be an artist, just a strong following and some will-power is all you need.
Tony Thompson, sir, you are so very missed. You were a bright star with a most gorgeous, stunning, unforgettable singing voices I’ve ever heard. I hope and pray your spirit is soaring and at the purist peace.
Wait a minute, I had no idea Pooh passed away. Man this group has really been through a lot and it’s truly heartbreaking. If only Tony could’ve lived abit longer to see the love and appreciation that fans have for Hi Five. Rip Tony and Pooh smh 😭
Tony was dancing the entire time and never sounded out of breath. The artists now smoke and drink so much to where they can't keep this type of singing up anymore.
Take note guys of 2020 & onwards,THIS right here is how to sing,...it just ain't like this no more, but I'm soooo glad I grew up in this era,got to see all the good stuff back in the 90's 👊🏾 best era ever
I'm from TEXAS also High five and H-Town definitely put Texas on the map and we were so proud of them that audience stood up the entire performance Tony was an awesome singer! RIP TONY, RIP DINO we miss you both!
How about Billy Preston .willie Nelson . Archie bell and the drells ( doing the tighten up) zz top Buddy Holly.all before them I highly suggest u check out ur music history before u make a comment like that
@@angelt0213 Pooh struggled for many years after he was tragically paralyzed in a car accident. Unfortunately he died a few months ago due to Pneumonia, which he had battled for weeks.
@@Jase-L I heard about him on Instagram it just sad to see to lose another group member of hi five my prayers goes out to him as family and rest in peace of Tony Thompson and Pooh 🕊️🙏🤍
Tony Thompson with the vocal ability goodness! Sleep in heavenly peace. Also Roderick Clark "Pooh" who passed away in April. This group under the production of Teddy Riley made a definite mark in music. Hi-Five forever.
this takes me all the way back to summer of 1990! me and my mom were at the car wash and I heard this for the first time...I was I love with high five from that moment on! they are the most unsung boy band. we always talk about new edition and etc... but we forget these brothas. let's stop that!
Love hi-five 💯 always fire to this day. RIP to Lil Tony and Pooh. It's sad to say there wouldn't be a hi-five today because of the difference in generations. Somebody in the group would have a problem not being the lead even though Tony is the star. They'd all be convinced they should be the lead smh
When I met up with Tony after his concert, I really wish I had asked him to sing something for me. I am kicking myself now. I wish I had more time with him. Still alot of good memories though. He was super nice and sexy. I miss him. Anybody have a story to share about meeting Tony?
Rip Tony Thompson and Pooh from Early 90 till 2005 my favorite 90 group Tony Thompson was my idol gone to soon but never forgotten still listen to his album was a big fan wish he was still here wish he but no he in heaven looking down on family friends and fans forever hi five my idol the legend Tony u.thompson
Beautiful singing. The lyrics were written with authenticity. It sang about pure relationships and how each man, as well as woman need to treat each other. Additionally, the young men dressing was on point. No sagging. This is what is missing from this current generation. Decency and respect. No excessive profane language, no derogatory comments about either sex. As people we must remember that God created us in His image. Therefore, we must have that passions towards each other. Praying that those who read this know that the Heavenly Father loves us dearly but we most hone into what He has destined us to be and know it is not about us it is about Him always. Believe in His word and allow Him to guide you to His greatness. Amen!
