No Group in history Same members choreography still on Point shows even Better after almost 45 years not Tempts Dramatics They had all the Singers but not the total package I'm 65 seen them all Detroit Philly Groups loved them all but NE the Best
Anyone thinking of starting a R&B group take notes. This is how you perform! Dance moves on point, singing, and outfits everything just on a tight level. This group is always going to be one of the best.
i'm former military, and to any military or former military... do these fellas remind you of the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds the way they just seperate and return to the mic's, weaving in and out, ever so smoothly, never touching yet inches apart? damn! any1 any1
I never get tired of new editions choreography to this song to me it's one of the top group choreographed steps ever along with the Temptations the best it never gets old
Yep. Yesssss he commands and demands the stage. That's what makes him the leader. The group DIDN'T give him problems at first because they knew he pushed the group to their top knotch POTENTIAL! Thank you Ralph Transvent ❤ YOU!!!!
Just TRY to sing on key, remember the lyrics, dance on point in a hot ass suit, remember the dance steps all at the same time and still breathe.. I'LL WAIT.. 😂 These boys HAD IT.. correction: STILL have it! NE forever!
They make it look too easy, you people don't understand how good of a dancer you have to be to move that smooth! They are so in sync & disciplined, love this.
Your routine is only as good as your weakest link. I've taught dance and choreography for many years. Bivins is the weakest link so you max him out and everyone else follows. Brown and Devoe are the best dancers but are handicapped by Bivins ability.
@@georgemaxwell3467 Discipline is everything!! It is needed in everything you do! If you want to be a Actor, Writer, Producer or a maintenance worker you need Discipline!! Bivins is a good producer and, Ralph was the forefront as a Singer, ronnie a good dancer, Johnny excellence in music. Bobby brown a explosive performer and Ricky a high register singer.
Brook Payne watches this with a big ole cheesy grin, I bet. All your hard work, long practice sessions and hiding in that damn closet peeking at them putting in the work has paid off. Mr. Payne, take a bow-this dance routine is a classic thanks to you and NE's grind at perfection and professionalism!. Best routine ever!
@@shanapierre1653 no. It's the backtrack which is Ralph + live vocals from Ricky , Johnny and Ralph. That's it. The rest is lip sync and Ronnie's 1 line.
To the haters: I remember Michael Jackson saying that he was amazed at their choreography! They got a stamp from MJ; that was all they needed...forever. #GameOver
The camera work is pretty good here. You can see all the steps. A lot of other live shows do a bunch goofy things and you don't get to see how on point their moves are.
What a great performance! Ralph on lead vocals smoked! Ronny, Johnny, Ricky and Mike sound smooth. And the awesome white outfits and totally tight choreography were "A-Plus"! This was New Edition at their best.
+Krystina Booker You're right. I've always had a good ear for harmony. No else's voice is even audible. Clearly the Ralph and Johnny Show as far as vocals are concerned.
Jalen Burroughs I have heard people sings and dance and sound better than that plus the dance moves are kinda simple and doesn't require too much movement that would compromise the vocals
Damn right! NE picked up the mantle laid down by the TEMPTs, Spinners, O'Jays, Dramatics, etc. Vocals, Presentation, Choreography and CLASS, that's the old school way !!! The young bucks don't have a clue.
30 years of performance together one of success group ever NE we ll never see any group like this stick together for a three decades they re more than a friends
Love this performance. They sound good, steps on point like always and all looking sharp and handsome in white. And Ralph is WEARING that hat...goodness ! 💜😋
I am a die hard 60s and 70s music fan and love Temps and other groups of that era...but no group can beat this smooth coreography! These guys are incredible.
I'm old enough to remember the Jackson 5 when they first came out, and they were great, but to say that NE is a J5 clone is a little strong, my brother. Did they borrow some things from the J5 musically? Sure. Who wouldn't? You can hear the J5 influence clearly on "Candy Girl". But as they aged, NE developed their own sound, particularly with JG. And as far as choreography goes, I've never seen a better group than NE. Even in their prime, the J5 couldn't match NE choreography-wise.
hodell82 the jacksons are the greatest group ever. but N.E was really trying to keep up with there boy bobby brown and 1988. because when bobby can t out with don t be cruel everybody was like oh shittttttttttttttttttttt
This particular performance was from 2004. That's INSANE!! Their career started in 1983, and 21 years later, they still put on a massive performance that year just as if it first came out. Only New Edition. 💖💖💖💖💖💖 They killed this performance! They can be broken up for years and come back together and bring the house down. They all looked the same, danced the same, and sung the same.
Can you hear Johnny Gill in the background behind Ralph. These guys are the best at what they do! They are R&B living legends. Their footwork and showmanship is only rivaled by the Jackson 5 and the Temptations! Throw Backstreets Boys out!
