Lzzy gets The Hu to an insane degree, it feels less like them adapting to her American style and more like her adapting her style to fit into theirs and its so beautiful to hear her voice mixed with the throat singing in harmony that brings me to tears.

Like in the Viking culture, in the Mongolian culture, women are very important, they took care of the family but fought alongside men to defend their land, fight their enemies. As men never knew how long they'd be in this world, they worshiped the gods and adored their women and children. They were the men's mark on this planet.

Someone opinted out that one of the theings the HU have brought to us, especially in this version of Song of Women, is a form of masculinity that is truly masculine, that respects and protects women, even embracing the feminine in men. We had this sort of masculinity once and somehow lost it. Thankfully the Mongols look like they never lost it. They preserved it and have now reintroduced it to us. For this alone, they are awsome and deserve our thanks.

You know Mongolians always adored the parents and many many songs are about mothers and fathers. Also the reason you love to hear HU songs is that their producer who is one of the greatest senior singers of Mongolia (B.Dashdongog) researched for years to build the perfect band.

Just like in my Country, Mexico, in ancient times a pregnant woman was at the same level as a the elite warriors of those times(Jaguar warrior and eagle warrior), that means if women die in when giving birth, was buried with the highest honors and instantly raised as the family guardian goddess and the only way to keep in touch with the family was transforming herself in a hummingbird flying over her favorite flowers, but if the woman survived the labor, her boy was destined to be a warrior, in case of a girl, the girl would become the family leader, or become a priestess

I am excited to see someone else having the same extreme emotional response i get each time i listen. The HU and LZZY collab on this is the most incredible union and song i have heard in far too long. Throat singing is an incredible sound to have tye pleasure to hear. Hello !! This song originally belongs to The Hu and talks about the value of the mother and the woman herself, now the part that she sings is an adaptation in English that has nothing to do with the lyrics that they sing. She had to write and maintain not only the chords but also the times, I think it took her a month to create and blend both lyrics to the song. There is a video of the recording and how they merged both letters.
