I had the 45 9 and 380...I kept the 3895 ts. One of the most accurate pcc iv had. Very happy with it .. high point 💪. Ps .moved my charging handle to the right side. Very cool set up
What is it with you and 30 Super Carry?!? 😉Yay on the left-side charging handle (I'm right handed also) and threaded barrel, a must. Really good grouping on the ammo for sure. I don't like the railing on the barrel, just a preference. I think the real winner of this video is your Hawaiian shirt! 🌺
30 SC is an amazing round. I fit 14 (not 13 like it’s suppose to be) in shield plus flush mags, 15 rounds in a tiny gun, no extension, and hits like a 9mm +P, but better penetration… it’s great. Ammo price is the same as 9mm, federal created the round, so even if it doesn’t take off you’ll be able to get ammo from federal, just like the .327 mag. I’ll take capacity and extra chances to perforate a bad guy any day.
Very cool 😎. Think cartridge kind carbine cartridge anyway . Love see 30 super carry in a small pocket size 380 size or small 9mm size like say a lcr size .
I had to laugh at the little 1960s Batman style "PING" after ever shot at the beginning! That was great. I am very happy with HiPoint grabbing the bull by the horns in further developing the 30 Super Carry. I know there is actual load development going on as well so kudos to Hi Point. With this carbine, the first thing I would change is the magazine feed. It really needs to be anywhere but in the grip.
I have a second generation 9 mm carbine looks just like that I use 20 round clips forward grip compressor on the barrel optic scope on top . The thing I like is ammo is the same as the pistol. I would love to have a Thompson 45 with the drum mag . I agree they are butt ugly far as price you get what you pay for. I have had no problem with the gun their magazines do need adjustment to get good feed consistently.
That thing has a recoil reduction butt-plate? Wow! That's pretty cool! Seems to have come a long way since the first version! Now, if they would just come up with a double stack mag!😮😅❤❤❤
folks been crying about that one since forever, maybe one day but (and i could have this wrong) i recall talking to an engineer from Hi Point years ago that said the overall design, which has remained pretty much the same for both the handguns and carbines, is difficult to change over to double stack without doing a whole new design. and lets be honest, at the price point, not like they have tons to sink into that R&D
love that it's an option from the factory, hate that it's the same design. Wish Hi Point would redesign it for modernization. S&W introduced the caliber but refuses to support it going forward but even they made a pcc that you can swap mag wells to take the competitions mags. Hopefully Hi Point can make new version that accepts both S&W style mags. At this point the 3095 is on my wish list so i can salvage it for parts when the price drops. Atleast we can show it as an alternative to the dying 380 platform for plinking.
so what you are saying is that you want a hi point that costs at least twice what it does now? 🤣😂 i do get what you are saying but hi point has been able to stay in the budget range becuase they don't get crazy with R&D and re designs on new models... they stick with what has worked for them. gonna disagree with 380, one of my favorite cartridges, you keep talking like that and we might not be able to be friends anymore 😂🤣 course if we are beign fair there, i have reloaded my 380 for decades at this point when it comes to plinking ammo
@@CloverTac kel tec does better on the same budget. All I am asking is a little bit of effort with advancement of technology. Let's gets get out of 1998 and jump in the 2014 age
i would not consider 1/2 price to be "in the same budget". will agree on the Kel Tec innovation front though. looks like we are not going to see eye to eye on much here, apprecaite the conversation, you go do you my friend, have a good one
@@CloverTac the older Gen 2 sub 2000 is 375-400 msrp, hi point's basic 9mm msrp is 364. Of course this isn't including sales, used or rebates. Also important to note that the Gen 1 Keltecs made factory models that took Berreta and CZ and S&W mags in both 9mm and .40. High Tower Armory also makes a bulpup chassis kit in your pick of 5 colors to convert your 95 for 250. The real question is how come Hi Point can't figure this out from the factory?
do you know that for sure? lot of plastics stocks out there in heavier cartridges that don't have that. but does sound plausible for sure. if i can remember, gonna ask them this next weekend when i see them in Knoxville at the GOA event and if i forget there, they will be on the podcast early next month
