Odd getting hate when those students are paying for it, not forced to, and there’s almost every student like this in college. Internet a mysterious place.
The hate is coming from trying to "hack" the "system". It's really funny because what money is 2 days of feeding people fancy food bringing per head? College loans on average are 38k minimum 😂😂😂.
@@allisonrae9912 some people legitimately love to hate. these kids work a ton of extra hours each week to create delicious menus, and the people they invite only pay for the ingredients. Yet, people are frothing at the mouth to heap negative comments.
Lol the Internet gets mad about everything. Food. No food. God. Atheism. Politics. No politics. The list never ends. Just ignore them and keep cooking delish food!
nice work A! keep capturing your adventures and sharing your cooking tips. glad to see whisk mic back in action! F the haters. most don't even understand the basic concept of accounting, yet try to talk like they understand taxes. lmao.
Keep doing what you're doing, and ignore the haters. I work for a concessioner in the National Parks. Park employees live in, no surprise, employee housing. Most of it is dorm style, just a bedroom with community showers and toilets down the hall. But some of the buildings have studio apartments, with wonderful kitchen facilities. And if you have one of those, you make extra money by making breakfast burritos on the weekends and selling them in the dorms that don't have kitchens after the employee dining room has closed for the morning but the residents are just waking up with a hangover and won't make it till lunch without gnawing their way through the furniture. We also bake cookies, brownies and cinnamon rolls to take into the office, and throw potlucks on the holidays. And in some cases, this is after we've spent all day in the restaurant kitchen! Foodies do what foodies do.
With the scale and prices of your operation, the way I see it, money-wise, you're essentially just inviting friends over for dinner and asking them to chip in for ingredients and equipment.
Keep chasing your dreams and counting your blessings. Besides your parents & family, I’m sure there are many that are proud and admire you. (I’m one of em!) 😊
Let the internet be mad. FYI- : You still legal to make food in your own kitchen and serve it to people who dont live there. It’s called having friends. If you’re an aspiring chef, or someone who just likes to cook, then it’s called… having friends. Get over it internet. She has friends, you don’t. Chefs finger 👍
Sounds like a restaurant with extra steps. Not hating at all and very much support your drive for learning and experimenting with food, but call it what it is. You running an “exclusive restaurant” out your apartment lol
People are weird. just keep doing what you love and what you want. Maybe people think youre charging insane amounts of money because of how you introduce your videos, but you're not, so just have fun and enjoy yourself.
I really don’t understand the hate!! Really! Are people stupid or what? It is clear that you are NOT making a profit out of this. You are cooking fancy meals for college students ONCE a week, everybody pays their part and thats it! I did a similar thing once and when we divided the costs of the ingredients between the guests it was quite expensive. I had to pull some money out of my pocket to make it a bit more accessible to some of my friends who are not yet in stable jobs and stuff. She is definitely NOT doing ir for the money.
Vibes don't pay the bills 😂. Remember you have to pay for school and your apartment. Don't call it a restaurant. If you don't want the department of health to come over. There are rules you probably don't care to follow. Seriously, nail polish while baking is a common sense rule. You don't wear it while cooking. Just an apartment you don't want random people over. I would follow but watching a 20 year old without life experience seems boring. Trying to be cute, by sticking your tongue out is not. If you actually went to work somewhere, not at your apartment pretending. Then I can relate to standing on my feet for 12 hours.
