When I lived in a dorm, I attended Welcome Week each semester. University clubs gave samples of everything everywhere! Also, the dining hall had a vendor fair. It was either every semester or every year. I enjoyed the samples there, too . They raffled food prizes and other things. I got a full sheet size rice krispy treat. Also, throughout the year, were food forum meetings. Dorm students gave their opinions on how to improve dining hall services. Refreshments included. Clubs give free food at their meetings, too. I was not embarrassed @ all. I ate the same thing others ate, but I didn't pay!

In high school I had a teacher that would give us snacks because we had last lunch very nice. Middle school me and a couple of friends would have lunch with one of our teachers they was so sweet. Bonding with teachers is amazing.
