Today we chase an under appreciated local, Norfolk Southern's HI10 from Altoona to Hollidaysburg. Today's HI10 has NS EMD GP38-2 5314 leading the way, with a fantastic sounding RS3L. It departed a bit later then normal, allowing us to catch Amtrak's Pennsylvanian. We follow HI10 on it's slow journey down the Cove Secondary to drop off cars for the Everett Railroad and Curry Rail Supply. We finish up our day by seeing them swap cars around in Curry before heading back to Altoona.
