Facts I was at goodwill other day guy walks up and says is that legal to carry I said yes it is the guy just couldn't let it go finally he called the cops and they reminded him that he lives in Texas And truthfully if there is a no weapon sign on the door I wouldn't have went in thanks for the kind words Hickock 45 God bless everyone

Every Goodwill I have ever been to has a no-weapons sign on the door. It's company policy and they are extremely anti-2A. I prefer to thrift at independent shops personally. Goodwill, St. Vinny, and Salivation Army are terrible. A good thrift store has every price tag color coded and a schedule posted for what dat during the week when that color tag is half-off. I buy almost everything at thrift stores. Paying retail is for chumps.

Private business owners have every right to set parameters as you do on your property. As you would expect someone to act on your property, you need to respect others guidlines. I have every right not to do business with people whom I don't agree.

No-Patronize zones. I see that sign and I don't go in or come back -ever The worst Federal VDZ's are National Parks buildings and facilities. You can go into the park but not go into the ranger buildings, the ticket office, the museum, the gift shops, and most importantly even the bathrooms. Ridiculous.

Where I grew up in the 60's might as well have been in the 1860's because most drove pick-ups with a couple mounted in a rear window rack and another hanging on the steering column. You can't keep them visible anymore due to thefts but they're still out there.

Protection denied not only inside the gun free zones but going to and from out of your house. It is unaccptable to leave a gun inside a parked car, not an answer. Some lawyers advertise that businesses have an obligation to provide for the safety and security of their visitors and customers. A 2nd Amendment attorney needs to do some lawfare.

I did bring up the fact that the Doctor's office was responsible for my safety, and I asked where the armed guard was. Well, now there are no 30-06 signs at the door anymore so I can carry into the building now. (Texas)

Even if I didn’t cc I would feel safer going into a store or whatever knowing that someone is carrying, then somewhere that posts no firearms , which is also advertising to the criminals that there establishment is open season for the taking. “ just my thoughts “. I refuse to shop at Sprouts. I was really looking forward to buying groceries there when they opened their store. I walked up to the front door and saw a sign that said “no firearms allowed” & “gun free zone”. I turned around and left. For five plus years, I’ve never spent a penny there and never will. They can kiss my Republican hiney.

We stopped going to our local mall. The last time we went there was a no guns sign. A couple weeks later multiple people were shooting at each other.( Gangs?) We shopped there all the time and never will again.

My grocery store owner put up a no firearms or weapons allowed sign I found him and when I asked him about he knows I conceal carry he said it was ok for me a marine vet and the former sheriff to carry and a few others to do it but he did not approve of open carry which is fine by me! Problem solved!

I think if it’s a gun freeze zone and you’re not allowed to protect yourself I’m assuming they’re going to have armed guard to protect you from criminals that don’t care about the law or your life , by posting that sign it’s telling me that it’s safe, 😳 but if something would happen, that also is telling me that you can sue that company for everything they got , when you get out of the hospital 😂😂

I'll sometimes ask if the business provides security since they don’t want me to act in my own defense. Other times I'll say somethIng like, "It looks like you don’t want me defending myself from YOU!" occasionally it'll be, "I'm sorry, but I prefer to do business with AMERICAN OWNED BUSINESSES."

Might as well call "Gun Free Zones" "Intelligence Free Zones", as any group of folks putting these in place are truly mentally challenged. The gun debate was succinctly described in a bumper sticker I spotted a number of years ago: "outlaw guns and only outlaws will have guns". Nothing more need be debated, that is a simple, undeniable fact that anyone with a reasonable amount of intelligence should be able to understand.

WEST VIRGINIA STATE FAIR!!!! I have boycotted since they became a “gun free” zone two years ago. I wish everyone would, but most people value a fried corn dog over safety and Liberty. There should be a law that any establishment with gun free zones must operate metal detectors at the door and must have at least one professionally licensed, armed guard per 25 people who enter, plus another armed guard per acre of parking area. That way workplaces and malls and schools can keep legal and illegal guns out if they wish without creating undue risk to patrons.

And provide secure storage lockers for armed citizens to store their firearms at the door when they go in. Not everyone drives a car everywhere. Some people walk, bike, Uber, or take public transportation. Many don't have the option to "leave it in their car" when they come off the street.

Gun free zones need to be heavily protected. But they’re not. Most places just have a sign but even military bases have be hit hard because of their gun free zone policy. I get what they’re trying to do, but signs don’t make gun free zones. And if you’re going to take away a person’s self defense and put a target on their back then you’re responsible for protecting them.

You know what I would like to see you do is a video on a 380 who and when it was instituted. I know it was John Browning but somebody's saying that it was was a deduct of a 38 and that's how he came by it, which I heard another guy that makes more sense to me. The 30380 looks like a downsized 45 ACP and that's what the other guy that I saw. I can't remember who it is now said. John Browning cut the 45 ACP down from 20% of its size and that's how they came up The 3 80 but I thought anybody you would know for sure it would be you. I know I'm shining an apple. Yes I am. You're a teacher. You understand that's all I got to say about that. Sorry that's got so long-winded

People love guns because they can only imagine themselves on the giving end instead of the receiving end of a gun. It is ridiculous that ordinary citizens should have the right to be judge, jury and executioner, rolled into one, in response to crimes that are not capital crimes. Defensive weapons like stun guns and tear gas guns are enough for self-defense outside of law enforcement. Love of guns is a measure of one's hate.
