This is honestly one of the best war games of early 2000's. Shame that the fate of this company ended like it did, but thanks to this we got a pretty good remaster of Mafia 1 recently. Hopefully someone up there among those corporate-money-loving people someone will notice that this game is worth giving it a second chance too...but hopefully not in a half-assed way. Great video!
Some of the guns sound better than in the original game such as the Sten and MP 40. I prefer the way that the game allows to fire machine guns only while lying prone.
loving the new models! but can you widen the rear peep (Aperture sight) so they are actually usable? ... video games always get this wrong.. when looking through aperture iron sight the rear sight kinda fades off and actually gives a really good and accurate sight picture... but in video games.. its just kinda in the way... (Just look at the Browning Automatic Rifle) in this video..... completely unuseble ... still keep up the good work ... I love this game and have been playing it since it was released back in the day ;D
oh yeah I know what you mean but I don't know a single game who even have it in some way, maybe there are some mil sim addons for Arma game but I never saw it :D (The mod which included a real two eyes effect look I mean ). I'm glad there is at least this, man :D The enhanced models are done by Shayox with help of FlashX who created 4ds plugin for Blender. I personally don't have any experience in this. I mainly just grouped the best mods and created one with most quality stuff in it.
I should have it somewhere but it was very bugged and some of the weapons in the pack were very broken, e.g. Sten gun. I recommend you: Weapon Models Enhancement Project by Shayox. @@DanJirasekCZ1 I swear for years i was trying to find a solution/mod if it would be possible to fire a Bren while standing. There was this old video from 2008 or even earlier, a short compilation of a man playing in Alps as a German on a server and he was firing ZB26 while running. Could you tell me what is this cheat since to this day i still don't know that?
@@wdskmusic5167 it's called: Tables. There are many variants of it. But because this game is still based on multiplayer and not like the Mafia games. I would not recommended to use it because it brings advantages over players who play fair. I can send it to you but please confirm me that you will not use it in MP but only in SP modes.
Raději bych byl pro nový Brothers In Arms, zaměřený na pořádný příběh, než pro oznámení HD3. Ale takový Remake HD1 + 2 no, to by šlo, ale zájem není no. Pokračování série už nikdy nevznikne. Po HD2 bylo vydáno tolik válečných her, že jsem si jistý, že by hra nemohla být na dnešní poměry vůbec dobrá.
@@DanJirasekCZ1 Tak na novém díle Brothers in Arms se pracuje, před nějaký časem to oznámil šéf GearBoxu, ale prý si ještě budeme muset nějakou dobu počkat. Já osobně si pokračování HD3 nedokážu představit, také bych raději uvítal remake HD2. Hidden byl poměrně složitá hra s velkým množstvím svobody, což dneska vývojáři nemají rádi, protože vývoj takové hry zabere spoustu času...dneska všem vyhovuje, když se hra vyvíjí cca 1 rok a může se vydat co nejdříve, ale bohužel je to dost znát na kvalitě.
@@DanJirasekCZ1 sice bylo vydano hodne valecnejch her ale maloktera tak dobra a specificka svym gameplayem jako h&d2. vetsinou se jednalo o strategie nebo klasicky strilecky a to jeste k tomu jen multiplayer. v podstate bych rek ze ve svym oboru hra nema moc konkurenci. porad snim o tom ze se jednou dockame novyho dilu nebo aspon nejakyho duchovniho nastupce. nevidel bych to tak cerne jako ty. prijde ze co se tyce gameplaye neni treba nic moc menit. jen trochu modernizovat technickou stranku, mozna pridat par novejch mechanik, mozna malinko zvetsit mapy ale jadro nechat stejny. s kamaradama porad cas od casu hrajeme h&d2 v coopu na lance a vzdycky se u toho zaseknem nejdyl ze vsech her a pak zasnene diskutujeme o tom jakej by moh bejt novej dil. ach tak snad nekdy
@@Krudanze Někdy v průběhu let 2006 - 2009 koupila společnost Take 2 firmu Illusion Softworks, aby si pojistila vydání Mafie 2, čímž získala autorská práva na hry jako je Mafie, Vietcong a Hidden&Dangerous. O poslední dva zmiňované tituly Take 2 podle všeho nestojí a řeší pouze Mafii.
