A lot of people post perfect runs of these levels, I wanted to see some challenge, nice to see you left in a death of your guys. Man did it happen quick.. once you drew their attention and fired at them, they returned one volley of fire and killed your man. It was realistic.
@@Chupe1766 Thanks.. I was unaware of the exact location of the enemy sniper, and the team were over-exposed at the side alley. In general, I tend to leave deaths that don’t happen in vain.
How could you let Willie Web be killed?!? He, along with Robin Hood are the finest shooters in the game! 🙂 Thank you for doing these videos! This game was a thing back in the day. Sadly, today only enthusiasts such as yourself are keeping it alive. I dislike Deluxe version. Back in the day, I used to play it in the original CD version. This town was a bit more "alive" with the Tram going around here. In Deluxe version the Tram was gone, i dont know why... Sadly, those modders didnt bring that Tram back. Also, Deluxe version has some FPS glitches resulting in catastrophical interraction of the vehicles (primarily boats) and the surfaces. In the original version, that boat used to glide on the water like the real thing, in the deluxe - it barely could go "against the stream". The next mission was real pain in the ass... I used to quickly side-steer to the shore, ditch that boat, so I could freely move fast along the shore.
Spiderweb carelessly exposed himself out of cover. The game is kind of mix between RTS, 3rd, and 1st person shooter. Needs thinking and caution which is fun. I agree the Deluxe version did stupid changes including unifying character’s faces. However, they did pretty good changes in the mod. The train in first Italy level is moving again, but the tram in Valka Gradiste is still parked.

First phase: piking off enemies from the boat (with the mounted machine gun and sniper) until reaching the docking platform. Second phase: Infiltration and taking control of the bridge and tank before arrival of enemy attack waves.
Nice video. I like that you took your time and didnt rush to the boat. Its resistant to small arms fire by the way like you wanted it to be. Pity that you lost one commando - my favourite soldier beside Robin "Hood" Smedley. I am looking forward for your next mission! Do you use here the newest H&D Deluxe Ultimate Mod release or still the older version? You probably just continued campaign after Danube 1 mission instead of starting all over again i assume.
Hey Jakub, love the mod but can you check why the intro voice lines for this mission briefing isn't playing? Pretty sure it works in vanilla Deluxe looking at other videos.
@@NongBenz It doesn't play on purpose because i deleted original briefing audio. I edited some briefing text and the default narrator voice audio would not fit together as a result anymore.I preferred that instead of weird audio cuts when narrator say one original sentence, then suddenly pause while player see new text on screen and then resume talking. I know one HDD mod in which briefing audio doesn't match text and it looks odd. I wanted to avoid that.
@@p.jakub88 Ah ok 👍, also are you able to mod the auto-fill/equip (whatever it's called) inventories per mission and campaign. I usually just let the computer equip everything so I can't cheese the game too much and I assumed it would give explosives if required. But on the first mission I didn't have anything to deal with the tank (and neither did the partisans). I did huddle my squad into the tanks flank without being seen to exit anyways so not a big deal
@@NongBenz I think, that the list of available items for the auto equip feature for missions is hardcoded. Me and another modder already though about editing it. Please check the mod readme to see the list of most important changes related to gameplay. I mentioned, that to deal with armored car in Danube 1 mission an anti-tank rifle is needed. There are no explosives to equip for the Yugoslavia campaign. More and more items will be available as the game progresses like various anti-tank weapons, etc.
