I love the episodes with Brent Spiner as Mr. Wheeler. The list of mishaps him and his wife go through, and that they buy the snack stand in the lunch room. Then raise the prices to ridiculous levels.
@@FactsVerse the TV show Soap was brilliant. Deep cast you probably have to do more than one video. One thing I remember was the character Jay and Bob. They were written in as part of an award they won from beating Sinbad in one of the first Star Search competition TV show. He was brilliant. Billy Crystal played one of the 1st openly gay extremely flamboyant characters in the history of television. So much more…🙏
Loved Night Court ❤️ My favorite episode was the Thanksgiving episode. Where Christine made yams. And they all got food poisoning.🤣😂I missed the days where we could ALL have a good belly laugh 😂

I love Night Court. I saw it on its first run and watch the reruns. I can never get tired of it. I know I'm in for a great laugh watching Night Court. The show got better when Markie Post joined the cast. I give the remake one episode before it gets cancelled.
I didn't watch the show that often but (1: Night Court in New York is a civil small claims court. The one depicted on the show looks like a criminal court even though none of defendants ever were escorted by a policeman (2) Judge Stone had a prominent lisp that he was always trying to hide, (3) The woman who played the public defender before Markie Post was the singer on the Meatloaf album Bat Out of Hell, (3) Markie Post's outfits were always designed to hide her huge chest and she always looked so proper. Her hair was also very well done, (4) the show lost my interest when Judge Stone and another judge went out-pranking each other, when Judge Stone became obsessed with Mel Torme, and Dan had to make sexual jokes about everything. Barney Miller was different because it had at least 3 story lines going each show at the same time.

I agree. A reboot couldn't possibly come close to the original, so why bother. They could do a similar show about a court, with different characters. Reboots always kind of spoil the memories of the original.

I remember Michel J. Fox being one of the bit actors playing an irritating youth very convincingly. It's interesting to note how many later became well-known. Must have had a good casting director.
I watched the episode with Michael Richards when it first broadcast and remembered its ending particularly. I didn’t realize who played the part until I rewatched it about three years ago. What a pleasant surprise that was.

Thank you so much for this video I just subscribed and liked...I was as many here a teenager when night court was on..loved it amazing characters and writing ..the reboot however does not appeal to me as I think classics should not be meddled with...what's your take on it?
Of all the actors from this series that were alive at the time of the 30 Rock episode, only the ones that appeared on that episode have died since then. I know Alec Baldwin was on set, but I assure you, these deaths weren't his fault.
I’m a huge night court fan. And I was already a fan of Harry Anderson because of Harry the con man on cheers. So many memorable episodes! The storm when all the babies were being born. That was a good one!
I am a fan of Night Court and think that a reboot of the show should not be as there are to many of the cast CNN have passed on, also it would be a disappointment to many as the storylines would be ridiculous.
How about the famous episode of night Court which feature of comedian who was somewhat like Andrew dice clay? The show took a very somber tone, basically saying that this type of humor is bad. I remember that episode more than anything else
I think there was a major changeover of characters, wasn't there? I liked the later cast better, with Christine, Roz, and Mac. I just looked at the Wikipedia entry with the different characters/actors and see what you mean. Interesting. Quite a few changes at different times in the show's life.
LOVED Night Court! I wish when a show is canceled. And there is a cliff hanger. Please do a follow up or movie to finish up the series. 30 Rock tried to help. And it was the last time Harry Anderson, Markie Post and Charlie Robinson were together. They are now passed away. 😥. The one memorable character you missed was Brent Spiner as Bob Wheeler. So funny! 🤣🤣🤣
if there is a reboot, I most def won't watch it... is that all anyone ever does anymore... reboots, and remakes!??😒 I'll just stick with the original series run. absolutely no original ideas anymore😑.
Yea a reboot? So the alphabet people and those who wrote the script for Rings of Power can have bad acting and make stories that make no sense. Would rather see this show as is.

My only problem with "Night Court" was that I couldn't believe Harry Anderson as a judge after his introduction on "Cheers" as a criminal (Harry "The Hat" Gittes). He was too silly to be a believable judge. A strong cast helped to carry the show. Without them the show would've never been possible. IMO
