We visited here only yesterday. Beautiful view and food. Great little video ‘living in Guernsey’ well worth a visit on a lazy Sunday afternoon

The birds were amazing. Always loved going there - mind you when we went there there wasn't a café that I can remember. I'm talking 50s!! Thanks Ross.

Renoir loved that view too. Can go to New York and enjoy the view from the tearoom on at least one of his paintings...

I worked in the cafe in the 60s when a lovely man, Mr Gentle ran the tea rooms. It was a wonderful job.

I have discovered all these small roads, lanes and footpaths during several years, using a map you can find at the tourist information center for example. This is a nice place to swim… at low tide ! I have never had a drink at the café, it was always closed. I see it has been renewed and the Renoir cottage too.

I just finished this walk down. The woods next to the narrow road down to the car park have cut back leaving an unsightly mess.Half the car park has been closed. The valley between the cafe and the cottages has also been cleared. There is a nice waterfall down the cliffs to the beach on the right side. The cafe does a great latte with a signature printed on it. Sadly, you are entirely right. The walk back up is steep and seems three times longer than the walk down!

Thanks for a delightful film again, we stayed in a hotel in that area many years ago. I think it was called Hougue fougue or something similar, it actually had the Renoir painting there, it was quite small I seem to remember. Thanks again for good memories. Diane
