I might be basic for loving Disney, but I do have a number of self-harm scars from my teenage years (20, 2000s baby) because of a number of things - incestual r*pe that happened from 2008-2012 when I was put into foster care, my father k*lling his own self and me wanting to see him again (I'm developmentally disabled, ok?), feelings of inadequacy because I'm disabled, and probably others - but I believe that a dream truly _is_ a wish your heart makes but you still need to work to make it happen, even if you need to get help with it. I mean, FFS, I've also been diagnosed with PTSD/C-PTSD by my counsellor (screen test w/ psychologist present) and I have my fair share of breakdowns but I still try to make my way in life by trying to think about the things I might end up being able to do, and that, when this life ends and if there's an afterworld I can finally be with my family again.
