Hi there from the East Coast of Australia N.S.W. , I think the old girl could definitely be a great restoration project And i think your hand skills would be just what she needs. And I would be very grateful to see the progress along the way. I love learning and would feel privileged to learn from you sir. You take care..
Would love to see the rebuild process on this one. My uncle who is now in his 90s had one on his dairy farm and as a kid he used to let me have a wee drive from time to time when we visited. Cheers
Very underrated tractor of its day, I have driven one of these at Welland tractor show in 2018, bags of power and could barely tell it had a 4 bottom plough behind. Would love to see a series on this over the winter.
Glad to see the old girl get some attention. I am not familiar with David Browns, but people tell me they were great in their day. Glad you are taking this on and will watch for updates!
Yes, very interested in seeing it being rebuilt. Sounds like a fun and interesting project with the results being a very capable working dozer for your efforts.
Yes please film it all , love these old barn finds ur coming across , love ur channel, like the funny film clips in ur video's, like ur sence of humour, well done
Hi I thought you'd found one of those little International crawlers were they td15's? I drove one on the farm back in the early 70's, keep up the excellent work, your now a must watch on my U tube channel!.
Would love to see the progress on that crawler, amazing finding old tractors and engines in the location where they we’re parked up or turned off for the last time.
Your lordship, you jest sir, you are as excited with this as we are, stop mucking about and get filming. It will make a superb addition to any agricultural showground
I'm a new subscriber and love motor restorations. Yeah, full video of all the work, personal comments skinned knuckles and all. Frustrations and all the pissed off moments too. It's part of the build story. Cheers and thank you.
Always interested in all the projects you get involved in , so good to get a barn find with an item that can be restored back to life again , with obviously a lot of work involved though. Be interested in the recovery of the DB from the shed, right through the repairs to eventually running in time hopefully, really good channel, thanks for your time on these projects & interest for others who may not themselves be able to do these projects but can still get involved by watching & comments !! Thankyou
Looks like a gem Kurt, be nice to see it step by step get the ol girl back to running condition, even if its left in its working clothes with a few bits sorted
I want a full series!!! The tracked It’s so rare that is impossible to say no!!! Looks also pretty well maintained ( for the bit I can see from the video) I don’t know about the undercarriage and chains but the track pads are in good shape!! Good work!!
Well your lordship another interesting find in a barn, I myself would like to see bits and pieces of this one ☝️ whilst your are bringing this one and all the others back to life, of I think 💭 is bringing a piece of history back to life and I can’t wait to see your next video as I do like to see the classic machines being brought back to life again, anyway you have yourself a great 👍 night and see you on the next one ☝️,do well.
Im loving all the David Brown’s as of late. Found my 1960 850 in a bush looking rather sorry for itself. Water in the sump held all the oil up high in the crank case and kept things in a surprisingly good nick. Runs like a top now with new rings etc
Quick hone on the bores ,new set of rings , polish the crank ,clean and check oil pump ,overhaul on the cylinder head , test injectors ,clean everything and build , then start the old girl up :)
Good day "L&M" Nice to see you are still about. You seem to be magnetized to crawlers, but nothing wrong with that. I guess it is exciting to find these treasures hidden away and forgotten. I think it is great that you are sensibly active in the restoration, given the fact that there is a subject of cost to be considered. It's all good stuff, I would like to follow the recovery and periodic progress even the smallest clip will be appreciated. Good video take care see you soon. Thank you for what you share.
Great project be good viewing mucka. Great to see this old stuff getting resurrected pal to much agricultural heritage getting scrapped and forgotten about....
What a find ! A beautiful machine. Well worth doing . Bit old England. Us DB fans would love to see more progress on this one please. Take care . Regards Matt .
Come on Kurt it’s a David Brown 50 it’s definitely got to be worth saving! Would make a great video series - can’t wait for the recovery and trundle home videos! It will be fantastic!! Well found indeed!
Love to see a video of ALL the recovery to your workshop. At least the tyres won't be flat! I pulled a car out of a wooden garage including floor. As I winched it as fast as I could, the garage leaned more and more sideways. It fell too soon damaging bumper, would have been top of wing but it snapped gable end on tail fin. It was a Triumph Vitesse.
There's me wondering what those track pads were for and you answered, smart arse! Nice tinker time project. Always love the smell of duck, seems to cling around more than other stuff too.
