Can we get the 1977 John Deere 2130 to move under t's own steam - Will it start ? Will it move ? This is a proper hedge row find and we need to see if she has anything left ! Barn find
Always enjoy your sense of humor. It’s your channel that you’ve created and I would like it most if you continued to express your sense of humor. Have a good one lord and stay healthy
Love the inserted pics, especially when George gets an occasional cameo. Something about C.... Swallow Comments or some such thing. If only folks would heed the Lord Muck positive message, it is right there amongst the humor, just open your eyes/ears
My name is Ben and As a 12 year old I can’t drink alcohol. so my go to drink is an nice cup of tea or coffee after coming in from work on my tractor. If any one was wondering it is a David brown 950 implamatic.
The way you did that with the picture incident was brilliant 😂made me laugh out loud another great video love watching all your videos keep up the great work 👍🚜
Cider and a box of benson and hedges done up a leyland 384 at 17 so there was a lot of sheared bolts and problems , got it going after 6 months chrome pipe and led lights and 38s on the back would do 43k!! Bent a conrod tho was too fond of the throttle ;) also had a 2140 square cab 4wd great tractor but back end was a nightmare keep up the videos mucka
Fantastic videos, great sense of humour, grew up on a farm in the uk, now live in Canada, really miss the English sense of humour. Absolutely love the pictures you insert , makes me laugh out loud.
i happened on your vid, THANKS EVER SO MUCH!! i have been having hydraulic problems with my 2130 for a couple of years now. it never had full hydraulics and would lose pressure as it warmed up.i did not know, nor did my repair shop i use know, that there is a mesh screen in the hydraulics. i pulled it out, it was filthy dirty and now i have full flow amazing what you learn on here. i have had a 2120 and 2130 for years. 2120 best guess is it has about 26000 hours( not one of them was ever a easy one), it still goes with a short pull, one tough old tractor.
Goin back, my worse mota was an 850 reliant Robin! I was 15! Got to the end of the bypass goin quick(🤣) went to gear down an the whole gear stick came out in my hand!! I went round the roundabout like on a scalextrix! Fare to say I shite myself an didn't sneak it out again😜 I was supposed to be in fuckin school!!!👍
This has given me a whole new appreciation for things JD, seeing this old girl move. The only JD thing our family farm me growing up had was a 6 or 7 furrow (can't remember) reversible plough, which was quite the thing back in the 70s. It was brought together with a Muir Hill 161 (my fave tractor of all time). The plough lasted one season after a hydraulic linkage blew and my family were too tight to order a new part from America to Scotland. The Muir Hill last another 10 years - and I still miss it.
I have a question, do you own these tractors or do you just do this for fun, when you get them started do you buy them? Just curious. Anyhow keep up the great videos!
I drove a two wheel drive 2130 early eighties, I don't think it was clutch slipping it sounded to me to be the torque amplifier (that's rabbit and tortoise) our's did it on steep ground if the back end oil was a bit low. Please don't take this as criticism but as it was explained to by our JD man, when it squeals its is slipping then it heats up and buckles the plates a bit and as it does that the pac then grips and you get drive again. I think that's what your one did and also the higher revs increased the oil pressure to the pac, I think Jake was thinking along the same lines. Also I recall a contractor having a new one with that style four wheel drive in 1973. He didn't like it because it wouldn't hold back when going down hill. Late sixty's early seventies most of the tractor manufactures hadn't grasped the concept of four wheel drive, hence the need for Roadless and County along with Zetor and Same. that was my take on it anyhow. keep it up it's all good stuff, Cheers.
Brilliant vid again kurt, still bloody hilarious, definitely helps watching this during this tough time. Looks like a good little tractor that, right ol yoke
Brilliant video again fella made me chuckle, me personally I like the pictures inserted it makes it rather entertaining and it has to be a brew of tea after a bad day on the spanners.
We had a 2130 2wd back in the 80's it was a brilliant tractor but I remember the steering eventually developed a wobble! The engine on your tractor runs nice and clean, looking forward to the next instalment. Cheers.
If its cold a cuppa t, if it's hot a whiskey and cola mixed from the bottle to the can ,the mix depends how the job went😁😂. Great job, enjoyed watching👍
Great video young man! When I have some in, and the day has been shite I go for a straight double Benedictine because it is sweet, slightly spicy and goes down great. Just like a good woman!
Mine would b a strong cup of tea. And maybe a can of budwiser..... Great video once again. Love these questions. That the viewers can join in the video. 👍👍👍
Your videos are fair funny I love the pictures you put in randomly 😂😂 is there anything better than the sound of a good diesel engine and the smell of the diesel takes me back
Think she may need new cab cladding ; )Lovely to see her bursting into life again. Well done. I've got a 3040 with a steering problem at the moment which I'm dying to have a go at when time permits.
I remembered seeing this tractor in an issue of tractor and machinery around 13 years ago. What reminded me was the rear steel wheels. Awesome videos keep up the good work.
I drove a C reg John Deer that looked a wee bit like this type when I was still doing my college course a few years ago, I couldn't tell you what type/model specifically it was but it was good fun.
Please don’t change a thing. Your videos provide plenty of information and laughter. My go to drink is an ice cold can of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Cheers from Syracuse NY
Great vid keep up the great work. Looks like a nice tractor to go but still needs a bit of TLC. Once again with the great chrome exhaust 😂😂. That's what you need it to move now what you need is to bring her home and make her the way she was years ago
Oliver66FarmBoy made mention of your channel and this is great. First video and already laughing thinking about cars I've had with holes in the floor, thank goodness I lived in the city back then. Cow pies lol.....
I have a 2130 too. I think it has broken trans pump, because hyds work fine when I add oil to the auxilliary tank in the front, but quit working soon, because there is no oil getting to the front. Checked the bypass valve and the oil screen and it ia fine. It is showing 9400 hours (and the hour meter still works), engine runs good and the gears inside the trans look almost brand new.
Great work with the John Deere, I hope the steering isn't going to be too bad to fix. My go to drink is a nice cup of tea, if I've had a really bad day, vodka, and lots of it!
Another great vid your lord ship, now that you have got this particular tractor running and moving is it possible that it could be restored and used for work, if so that would be very cool. As far as my go to drink at the end of a very stressful day I would most definitely say that it has to be a good quality whiskey with maybe an birch sap ice cube with a tiny piece of mint leaf in it and that would be a really good treat. I really do enjoy your vids as you make them to be factual and fun, as we need some of that during these days of uncertainty.
Great video again Kurt. I would have liked to see it dragged down the field wi a chain tbh😂. I love the photo inserts, the one with George and his gloves is a belter. Jameson Irish whisky for the dram 🥃🏴
I absolutely love all the clips that you put in. I’m not a regular subscriber, but I definitely come around for the start videos. Keep up the minty content.
Glad it moved - wasn’t looking great last week. Hope you get back to it shortly and get it driving!! Go to drink would be a cold bottle of beer - if things were very bad maybe straight to whisky 😂👍. Do not stopping adding photos and funny clips - they’re too good!!
