Also, a few more things about the familiar: - It cannot be duplicated by Box of Friends or The Twins - It persists into the Knife Piece 2 area - If sacrificed with Sacrificial Altar, it gives you an item like normal, but then immediately respawns Oh, and some other things: - Astral Projection has the same interaction with The Lost/Tainted Lost as Berserk!, where picking up a soul heart before the effect ends lets you survive. In both cases, only soul hearts work, so black hearts won't save you. - Normally, you can't have both the regular and Birthright versions of Book of Belial. However, if you obtain Birthright and Book of Belial as a different character and then change into Judas (through either Judas' Shadow of Clicker), it'll let you keep the regular book while also giving you the Birthright version, allowing you to have both. You can also do it by obtaining Birthright as Judas, then rerolling your active with 'M until it gives you the regular book. (Unfortunately, there's no special effect for having both, it works the same as having just one.)

Parasite can split more than once and it scales with range and damage, the more you have, the more they can split. (use homing shot to check)

I found out in a t forgotten run, that if you use both pinking shears and have intruder and take damage, both issacs head and body disappears, and you are invisible. It sucked during beast fight tho

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but using Flush on a room in the Mines with lava pits will turn the lava into rock that you can walk over. It even works against Great Gideon after he splits the room in half.

The Esau Jr. one is yet another episode of: "I found this out entirely by accident."

Brittle bones can't be rerolled via Tainted Eden "Ever changing" effect or disappear in "Cantripped!" challenge if you got a tears up from it. Updated: in "Cantripped!" item disappears but tears up still remains. It also works with Red stew. I'm not sure how I kept Brittle bones in "Cantripped!" and it possibly can be a bug. About Tainted Eden I got Brittle bones once and when I took some damage from cursed room door and then got hit by a monster Item still was in my inventory.

With C Section + Dr Fetus, how large the fetus projectile is actually influences the type of bomb it spawns from the synergy. (This is most easily visible with Lump of Coal.) If Everything Jar spawns an enemy in the Home Floor in Isaac's Room or you otherwise find a way to put the room in a state where the doors lock themselves, it has a unique door graphic with a hole in it (like the hole in the opening!). If Everything Jar specifically spawns a Blurb enemy from the 12-charge effect on a floor that is NOT Downpour or Dross, it has a unique graphic tinted the standard pink, rather than Downpour's blue.

Not exactly a hidden ITEM effect but tainted forgotten does not have a speed cap! This applies in both directions as well, allowing for negative speed.

Vade Retro being able to explode you on death, much like the item itself, is a Nuclear Throne reference! The ability to explode corpses in NT also lets you explode your own on the death screen.

Maybe it has been mentioned, but when you have blood of the martyr and book of belial, it gives you a 1,5 DMG multiplier (I think it is the same multiplier as magic mushroom or cricket's head)

Here's an item effect that I just discovered: the double tap shield from Divine Intervention can be used to push back Ultra Greed during his charge attack

- If you have explosions that do little enough damage (min charge Chocolate Milk + Ipecac, probably Soy Milk + Dr. Fetus, etc.), it's possible to actually damage shopkeepers without destroying them. - With Twisted Pair, if playing with a controller, you can control the width of the two familiars by partially holding the analog stick

With T Jacob if Esau didn't summoned yet you can summon him instantly by using Anima sola on starting room.

Everyone talks about Blurbs, but in fact Tainted Tube Worms also have a unique white sprite, like regular Tube Worms in the Dross. Although tainted variants can't be found in the game anywhere except for the Downpour on the way Home.

Little horn does contact damage when running on enemies, similar to Aries but without the invisibility effect

Essau Jr. Also has an interesting interaction with T Keeper, it gives you no downsides, also gives you free flight. You keep the coin hearts, you keep the Quad-shot, you gain flight, no negatives.

Idk if you covered this yet, but using Glowing Hour Glass on an item room under the More Options effect can cause it to completely change the room's layout as well as the items inside of it, and you can do this as many times as you want to as long as you have a rewind charge upon room entry, but you only get like 5 rooms to choose from, then it starts to repeat.

I recently dealt an instant kill to ultra greedier and i dont know how. I think i turned him into stone for a second and step on him with leo.

Hey! Just found something cool! So IK in one of your vids you said that player spawned orange flames (ex. Red Candle, Bird's Eye) turn Clotty enemies into their flaming counterpart. That's true -- unless they're the wet variant of Clotty seen on floors such as Flooded Caves or Downpour. In these cases, they're damaged as normal! Not really an item thing, more of a lesser known feature in general.

Ooh, here's a cool one, sorry if it's been mentioned before, black candle actually cancels the teleporting effect of cursed penny, making it effectively useless, due to that being it's ONLY ability! I really don't know why someone would willingly collect cursed penny though.

if you have broken modem options? and magneto in chest/ dark room : if magneto opens chests that spawned with modem and options? items in that chests will be glitched , magneto should open this chest instantly as they spawned

most people have probably figured out already that you can use big horn to destroy things like peeps eyes, death's head's, all forms of grimace's and shooter's, and even the orbs that rag mega has, but you can do the same thing with euthanasia and it happens much more often the higher luck you have. it's super useful

I dunno if this counts, but you can get infinite stat ups with echo chamber, vurp, and a pill that boosts a stat. I got this with tears up which capped at 5, but I imagine with items that break the cap you could reach the max of 120.

Berserk is still worse on the lost since taking damage doesn't charge it. Also soul hearts are quite rare so its a last resort at best

Probably already know but scissors with the giant bombs that enemies use later on, once they deactivate and you pick them up you can then use giant bombs aswell. Kinda cool

Maybe this is common knowledge, but I just found out about it: Vade Retro will insta-kill any ghost type enemy, as long as it has half or less of its health remaining. This even works on ghost bosses like Haunt, Forsaken, Heretic and Delirium is he's in a ghost form.

Ok... so I just learned from "Slay" youtuber that Vade Retro has a hidden ability as well. It can detonate ghost type enemies (including bosses) if they have 50% or less HP left. Crazy!

Once more, since i don't think i saw it before. Dash effects (Suplex!, Pony and White Pony, Mars) give immunity frames for the duration of the dash, which allows for opening spiked chests and entering curse rooms without getting hit. You can also dash through spikes if you don't have flight and won't be damaged either. You can use Dark Arts to open spiked chest without hurting yourself if you finish it's duration standing near the such spiked chest.

This might not be "game breaking", but its still a fantastic combo: Bethany + Guppys Head. 2/4 wisps every room, an almost unlimited number of charges cause its 1 charge/ soul heart charge per room and a great way to tank hits Alternatively you can make this more powerful with backpack and spin to win

I think In the Genesis Room with Tainted Lazarus makes you choose not only which Item you get but who gets that said Item as well and you can infinitely do so So it would be fair for both sides of the coin

it's crazy how i've almost played for 1k hours, and there's still stuff about this game that i don't know...

Note: This works on Console. No idea if PC users still have this, but it nets wins in Greed. In Coop, if you use Jacob+Esau and die last (or as T. Forgotten)... You can persist even after losing. If at a boss battle, you can respawn. This is brutally OP in Greed(ier) Mode, but you must bear in mind that while it is overpowered af... It's SUPER TEDIOUS! Oh, and you should definitely aim to get good enough health and damage to survive the room before Ultra Greed. Note: Should a single bodied entity (Isaac, Normal Forgotten, Tainted Jacob, etc.) die last, the gameover screen pops up as intended. Best accidental discovery ever.

May I recommend the ending clip with playdoh cookie for a ballpit? Maybe with a bit of range and rubber cement.

I just found a really cool one in a run i'm in right now! If you have Hemoptysis (tainted Azazel's sneeze item) and Best Friend, when you put the Best Friend down and hit it with the Sneeze it will become magnetized to enemies for some reason and works really well on bosses. I don't know if its a bug or intended.

When holding the shiny rock, the pebbles left by exploding a marked rock or a crawlspace rock will also shine

By the way, about the poop's synergies with midas' touch, pretty sure E.coli and card against humanity also synergise like this. card against humanity + Midas' touch = better soul of the keeper.

Another quirk about the berserk/lost combo, black hearts also work for surviving, however eternal and gold hearts will not, gold for obvious reasons, the eternal I assume because lost cannot get red hearts under normal circumstances

Back in ab+ when i was a noob i struggled to get the d6 with isaac, cuz you know, blue baby But i got midas touch and was surprised with the golden poop Ended up breaking the run and winning :D

I got midas touch as my first item on my very first blue baby run and I maxed out my coin capacity in caves 1 even after jamming the donation machine with ~50 coins.

If you have Pluto and go into the crawl space you can fall throug the floor where the ladder end and go into the I AM ERROR room.I'm not sure about this,but I think that this only works if the crawl space has a black market,but I'm not sure about that one.Also I had wing in that interaction,don't know either if that has an efect,but just in case that makes a diffrenace.

Did you know if you have little horn( the devil item that makes your tears have a chance to summon the hand to grab and hit the enemy) you can kill a bomb grimace with it and get a ton of red bombs?

Technology and monstros lung creates a lazer shotgun that's insanely powerful (it works differently to brim and lung, as that fires off brim in random directions and swear it didnt work like that before)

If on tainted Lazarus (or maybe with esau junior) one form has strawman, it gets healed to full hp once you swap back to it. You can pretty easy abuse this for sacrifice rooms for example

If you encounter Greed or Super Greed in a shop and then pick up Rib of Greed the shop will become a regular one when you re enter it
