Hidden Verizon 5G coverage layer: See mmWave and C band separately on the Verizon coverage map

Verizon, like both T-Mobile and AT&T operate 5G on both C band (mid band) and mmWave, or millimeter wave. This video explains the difference and how to view the hidden mmWave coverage later on the Verizon website.
To see the hidden mmWave later you'll need to use the Chrome browser on a desktop computer, and install this Chrome extension: chrome.google....

They should of differentiated between the two, especially on device. And yes the map is very inaccurate. It shows in my area literal blanket coverage 20 + miles in every direction and it’s not even close to that. Honestly sprint had the best coverage map functionality wise. There would show single by type but then also strength at locations, and then also by device.

Yeah all the coverage maps are pretty bad because they are so optimistic. Cellmapper.net is a great resource if you want to see exactly what coverage is like.

Their coverage map is super outdated do you know how often they refresh it? Yearly? My whole area has C band 5G UW but yet nothing is on verizons map...
