To manage a WordPress based site we type wp-admin in url, then we type username and password to enter administrative area. Every WordPress user does that. Everyone knows what is the admin URL for login page or where to look for in order to login to WordPress. We can hide it. We can hide WordPress administrative area. We can hide WordPress login page. We can protect WordPress login page and admin. Go to plugins and search 'hide login'. I have installed a WordPress plugin that can hide WP Login page. After activating it, go to settings, add custom name instead of wp-admin that will be used to point to the login page and you are done. Now in the URL, login page name has changed.
This plugin helps you easily and safely change the url of the login form page to anything you want. It doesn’t literally rename or change files in WordPress core, nor does it add rewrite rules. It simply intercepts login or register page requests and works on any WordPress website. The wp-admin directory and wp-login.php page become inaccessible, so make sure you bookmark or remember the new admin url. Deactivating this plugin brings your site admin URL back exactly to the state it was before. I recommend you to always hide login page if you use WordPress. It's a must have security measure that you should remember to take as a WordPress developer or a business owner with a WordPress based business site that makes money.
