with how good the real time graphics are, i think a movie done in full CGI would be amazing, and would help suspend disbelief when seeing the extraordinary things in the world of Death Stranding. When i watch things like Appleseed Alpha, or Final Fantasy Kingsglaive, I'm not thinking about how the effects look with real people next to them, because the whole thing is effects, so my brain leaves that part behind and gets into the story easier. So if the Death Stranding movie isn't started yet, I really would love to see a realistic full CGI adaptation. Hideo stands out, his movies should too, and i think this would be a great way to do it.
I didn’t know Hideo fell ill and had surgery in 2020. Glad that he’s doing better, and I sure hope he doesn’t retire any time soon. We need more people like him - creating brand new interesting games. As much as I’d love to see a movie from Hideo, it’s fantastic to see he’s focusing on his own IPs. This man is an international treasure
reminds me a lot of how masayoshi soken was undergoing chemotherapy while still composing for FFXIV's endwalker. I love these legends and their work and I hope they don't stop.
This man is simply a legend and if not right now, then certainly one day he will be considered as great as Kurosawa,Miyazaki, Shigeru Miyamoto and other great artists, creators of that caliber.
@@darknolife He's 60 years old. I don't see him retreading on a story that has long ended following the dystopian era of Metal Gear Rising. Prequels are also cheap and doesn't get his inspiration jogging from movies, books, games, and other media
@@JW82hxHe loves his fans. Simple as that. If the fans want more metal gear, I don't have any doubt that he will not only deliver, but create something new and fresh. A spiritual successor of sorts. It doesn't need to be metal gear, it just needs to FEEL like metal gear, y'know what I mean? For example. Death stranding still felt like metal gear in regards to stealth and action. BTW holy shit, he's 60!?!? That's insane and impressive af ngl lol
I think it's because post pandemic and turning 60 cuz my dad is the same age as Hideo and he is going through the same thing. I think after the pandemic made us appreciate certain things more.
He has 3 projects that he has complete free liberty on, and everyone in industry treats him like royalty because he's genuinely just a rad dude to be around, he must be on cloud 9.

Kojima: "Lou got shot and turned into a ghost in the first trailer". How? Lou is a "repatriate", he died at the end of the first game and returned from the Beach (Did Amelie bring him back?). In any case, he can't die, just like Sam. And the main strangeness - Amelie stopped the the Death Stranding! Also her doing that somehow stopped Timefalls because in the end Fragile says to Sam he can stop worrying about BTs and then he's standing in the rain without aging. Why are the BTs present again in the world of the living, why is there Timefalls again? Why is Fragile have young skin again? I hope this is all logically explained in the script and everything will be thought out, I’m very afraid of plot holes and problems with logic.
As a videogame lover since I was a child, this make me even emotional. You are a true icon Hideo. You convinced everyone interested that videogames are art. Congratulations and thanks for everything. Death stranding is so beautiful and you are the only one able to make them invest in something different.
Hideo Kojima doesn't miss. Konami took a BILLION-dollar franchise and one of the most technically competent game engines ever made from him, but he managed to keep his Studio (HIS NAME) and many employees that worked for him throughout the years... Then he made Death Stranding, an experience that soars clear over most people's heads to this day. He can do whatever he wants. So long as he gets to create, we will get to appreciate and enjoy his creations. がんばれ小島さん
Death Stranding makes absolutely no sense to me, it's like he put a Japanese story through google translate throw in some American actors and boom I don't know what the hell is going on.
Amazing. Didn't know he was so sick during the pandemic and even got surgery. That's why he is planning to do one more Action espionage game. As a gift for the fans cause he realized he is going to be 70 and people can die...hearing he himself stating this was both heartwarming and heartbreaking
At the end of the video, Hideo-san says: "If it's popular, I may do it again." Well, it's proven to be extremely popular and you should definitely do it again - and more often😅 I learned a lot here, as it was like watching the bonus features on a 4K Blu-ray or a DVD; more details about things that I had seen or heard previously. I look forward to more episodes of HideoTube and also to the success of Kojima Productions in all of it's many lofty endeavors🫡
I really really REALLY love the fact that Kojima said there was going to be more environmental hazards and obstacles like floods, earthquakes, and forest fires for DS2! That’s a perfect set of additions that’s a must for Death Stranding’s world design that even I said that there should have been more environmental obstacles to face off against in the first game and I’m glad kojima has thought the same and added more for Death Stranding’s world for gameplay features! So hyped for DS2!!!!
Wow, Mr. Kojima's production team is fantastic. I loved the interview, the jokes, the information that made me even more eager to discover the new Death Stranding. Note, I don't know if others also observe this, but I see so much Metal Gear in Death Stranding (in the clothes, in the lines, in the body movements, in the way of acting) and I think it's incredible. 😍 Yesterday I met Risa Unai at Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth. What a cool moment. She is amazing. 🥰 Congratulations on 16 million copies sold. It's deserved, what a wonderful game. 🙏✌
I absolutely LOVE how Hideo toys with his fans. Leaving us little clues and hints, in a trail that lasts MONTHS leading up to the release of new content. It makes me giddy with anticipation!! 😁
I won't lie after this even I am far more excited I love actually seeing and relating to people rather then just hearing names and being expected to be hyped off that alone but with this I relate and enjoy
Everything he has revealed in this EP just has not stopped me from gasping out and giving goosebumps. I'm from a completely different industry but he is definitely one of my huge influential figures to ignite me even more enjoyment.
Awesome to see the return of HideoTube. I was surprised by Kojima's reveal of his prior illness but I'm glad he pulled through and in turn has had a resurgence in his career. I look forward to all his future projects and hopefully more HideoTube.
I like having him explain the trailer to you rather than somebody guessing what everything means.. I didn't even see the fingers in the smoke and I still don't even after he mentioned it, I don't think anyone would have caught that.. crazy stuff happening..
I'm so happy that you all are happy! You can tell Kojima Productions brings the joy and roots back into gaming. Keep doing an amazing job, Team! Always looking forward to ALL of your projects!
Ciao Maestro, spero che i tuoi prossimi videogiochi siano belli e avvincenti e che i tuoi insegnamenti possano aiutarmi nella vita, sono cresciuto con i tuoi videogiochi da quando sono bambino e ti sono riconoscente
Hideo Tube is back! I missed this show. The last one we had was with Mads? That was before ds1 was released so I'm glad you're bringing this back. I saw the poll on twitter last time, Hideo Tube was pretty much up there, so this is definitely a good call 👍
Ciao Maestro grazie per il tuo lavoro, ho giocato a tutti i tuoi giochi e mi hanno sempre lasciato soddisfatto e apprezzo notevolmente i tuoi insegnamenti
The Father of an industry expanding to others! I'm full of excitement for all that you shared! Thanks for coming back Mr. Kojima! Looking forward to another episode soon!
Thank you so much Mr.kojima I hope to see more hideotube content again soon!! I enjoyed it so much and was so happy to see all of these updates on your future games, especially death stranding. My favorite game of all time is death stranding, never have I been so in love with characters and the world of the game, you made me feel so close to a fictional world more than ever before. Thank you.
Amazing! 👍A big thank you to everyone involved in this, I really enjoyed every minute! So exciting to hear Mr. Kojima's comments on DS2, OD, and PHYSINT. Really looking forward to experience them all! In the mean time, I'll keep on keeping on!
Obrigada pela legenda em português do Brasil! 💜👍Thanks for the subtitles! I was happy to see that we have the content subtitled for us here in Brazil, and I hope that more videos with content like this will appear in the future, it's a great pleasure to listen to Kojima and to know how the KJP is moving, the guests are charismatic and fun and it's lovely to know more about what happens behind the scenes, keep it up and we look forward to the next releases!✌💪💯
Watching Hideo Kojima break down DS2 trailer was just amazing, so many things we missed were unearthed. It was like experiencing it for the first time all over.
