Akio Otsuka, the Japanese voice actor of Die Hardman and Snake, gives us a guided tour of the brand new Kojima Productions office to celebrate the studio's 7th anniversary.

Years have passed one by with not so much as an utterance of my thinly vailed delusions of grandeur, you sir are clearly a man of considerable taste and insight to have commented on my clearly desperate desire to be taken into the bosom of high society
I'm so happy for kojima and his entire studio, they deserved this after everything konami did then adding salt to injury like not selling the mgs license to him, the fox engine he created etc and especially them basically banning him from the game awards that year. Now kojima and his team can create w.e. they want, and death stranding is a phenomenal game and shows just how talented kojima is. He didn't have a leash on him, he could make the game just the way he wanted. I'm beyond happy for them.
Instead of a studio showing off all of their achievements it feels like a museum, and how everything is made to preserve sight lines and separating each individual space which each have their own unique feeling is so stunning. Just entering the studio is story telling. Every room has a purpose and is stylized so it breeds creativity.
"And here, in this studio, is where Hideo Kojima's imagination will expand infinitely and eventually turn into a work of art that will awe the world." Can't wait for projects like DS2 and other ones.
This was an amazing presentation and such a cool way to showcase the studio. Also the reveal at the end was incredible hahah so meta. Just chefs kiss 🤌
To anybody that do not know, Akio Otsuka is the japanese voice actor/seiyuu that voices many famous characters as All for One in Boku no Hero or Dimple in Mob Psycho among many others.
Not making a Ludens game is a huge miss opportunity. That design still looks insane to be just a studio mascot. To me, it looks completely outstanding. A futuristic 3rd-person action/adventure shooter with love craftian-like entities and lore, well made character arcs with the help of writers and dialog designers to upgrade the Mario and princess "Beach" story formula. Jokes aside, an amazing studio, honestly. Hope it help the team to take their time and create a cohesive narrative now that they've the resources.
Looks so futuristic and clean, but also it's kinda not the space that makes feel comfortable!! I'm talking about the full white and full black spaces... Makes me want to paint them red :)
@@Millahtime Not quite. I'm implying that his ego gets in the way of crediting the people who do most of the work. Sure, it is his vision, but how far does his vision last on its own in terms of creative ability for a typical Kojima game?
Wow the ray tracing looks amazing in this especially combined with the unreal engine's metahuman thingy. Almost had me second guessing my ability to tell what's real or not.
