I dont get why everyone hates him. He was really active in both the trials, and the investigation. Not only that, the fandom whines about him making nsfw fanfics, while confessing they wanna sleep with Nagito and/or Kokichi. He also was very nice to everyone and was manipulated by Celeste cuz she said Taka r×ped her. I would be furious too if i were him.
yeh plus him killing taka is kinda justified like taka just recently transformed and was acting really weird and mentally ill, hifumi was told he was gonna kill him and really had no time so he killed taka in fear. most people say he killed cause he simped but i dont think thats the case
Why is it that I find him alot more tolerable in the anime? He sounds like an actual comedy relief character. Maybe its the voice acting, or maybe it's the dialogue.
I thought that too! In fact a couple of characters I found a lot more tolerable in this version. I think might be the fact that his worst moments were significantly more toned down
@@sigh582 You can say that again, not to mention that it makes the characters sound more like they were supposed to be portrayed as. Kyoko sounding more serious, Byakuya being snarkier, and Hina having a more carefree voice to name a few examples

To be fair he did do that of his own volition Celeste just suggested something to him just a little nudge in the right direction yeah I don’t hate him for killing taka I mean nagito pretty much killed chiaki and... people still love him especially how much Chiaki was loved
@@No-lr8wu Celeste convinced him to do it. It was obvious that Hifumi was unsure to agree when she suggested it. Celeste said more lies such as them both escaping. And plus, Hifumi cant go "Oh sorry i can't kill someone who abused you and took over Alter Ego, the one I truly love so deal with your own problems woman"

*Tbh he actraully DID help in trials,he was the first to mention how the 1 1 looked like an N,and he found the broken E handbook* Overall I actraully did like him along with Teruteru and miu,i kinda wanted him to get character development :’(
I feel like Hifumi was nowhere to be blamed. If you guys could remember what Celeste told him, she told him that Taka abused her. I would've killed someone too if they were to abuse a friend of mine, and take such advantage over something we both love dearly, which is Alter ego. With his character and personality, Hifumi is naive and gullible. He didn't deserve any of this. It was unexpected for him to die or to kill someone.
And also Celes told him that Ishimaru was gonna kill celestia in no tome. So he couldnt think a lot and he needed to act fast. Killing Ishimaru without thinking twice. He was in a rush
He’s not my favorite, but I don’t hate him honestly. And his death was because Celestina tricked him into doing the right thing for something that didn’t happen.

Hifumi Yamada and Kiyotaka Ishimaru needed to live, and I think Hifumi Yamada being with Alter Ego is best to share his feelings with a waifu he wishes to really love (even for being a 2D girl/boy).
He's a total neckbeard, but I actually really like Hifumi as a character. Not only does he make for some _exquisite_ comedic relief, but I also can't really blame him for getting way too attached to Alter Ego, considering I'm pretty much obsessed with Chihiro.
Poor Ishimaru, poor Hifumi, neither deserved this, personally I think Hifumi is more to blame, but I still don’t think this should’ve happened to either.
Agreed. Can't believe these two innocent people died because some fake bitch wanted to be a European vampire princess. What a pointless death for such interesting characters, especially Taka who was going through depression and was starving himself. Hiro and Aoi should've died in their places. And in the anime it's even worse, it annoys me how those useless idiots survived and were all happy and shit, and these actually good characters died for shock value.
@Theroyaleagle 54 he didn’t act fast he acted without thinking properly which got an innocent person killed. Then he also got himself killed by trusting Celeste which was stupid. Clearly being a gambler would make her numb to other people suffering so why wouldn’t he think not to trust her? I personally think he could have been a lot more intelligent then he was.
hifumi was a funny character, i hate how everybody reduces him to “ew husband killer” when (spoilers below) he was literally manipulated by celeste who told him (this might be wrong sorry) but didn’t celeste tell hifumi that ishimaru groomed and harassed her, and stole alter ego? also he’s not even that much a pervert, he’s not teruteru, (i like teruteru btw) he also gets reduced to “ew 2d p0rn supporter” he got attached to alter ego because in the anime he specifies that the doesn’t like how everybody turns sideways to him when he talks (mood) so he’s lonely, alter ego is programmed to respond to everything, and instead of getting no looks, alter ego listened to him. that’s my defense of hifumi yamada:)
Yamada is such a great character and strong as well imagine the despair he had to go threw not only was he betrayed by someone meant to be his friend but he also had to remember the truth imagine the pain of only then having the guilt of seeing 6 of your closest friends dead and you having killed one of them but he still chose to fight as long as he could and help everyone of his friends
This is why I was disappointed with how his death was handled in the play version; here, he actually had people caring about him in his final moments, while the play just took him out and that was that.
He may not be my favorite but he would be someone Id love to hang out with! I feel like if I poke him he's go *w i g g l e* but in all seriousness he's underrated and a good friend. Celeste manipulated him but he was still so willing to kill Taka for her. Underrated character and he deserved more love.
Yamada has one of the saddest deaths in the first game not because it was brutal but he died knowing the truth he remembered why they were all there he didn’t kill a stranger he killed a close friend and was betrayed by a close friend like it wasn’t a surprise kill where the victim died instantly he knew what had happen imagine the pain of only realizing that the strangers who have been dying getting killed by one another were your friends

People love Celeste but will hate Hifumi even though: 1. She convinced him Taka sexually assaulted her 2. Celeste set up the murder and ended up killing him 3. Celeste bullied him all the time and called him a fat pig? Y’all like Celeste just because her design is pretty- And most of the people who hate Hifumi are literally weebs who fetishize bl but since he isn’t hot y’all will not tolerate him... aren’t some of the other character pervs but because some of them are “attractive” they get a pass... Also doesn’t Toko make Byakuya uncomfortable with all her remarks towards him? And she’s a murderer? And fetishizes bl? But people are just like “qUIrky 🤪” You can’t pick and choose who to hate.. if you wanna hifumi then acknowledge the others too... especially since some of y’all look like Hifumi but at least he actually makes money...

After chihiro died I was like he must not die so when the fake death started I almost cried lol I was hoping he didn’t die then when he said he’s ok I was so happy then his real death made me sob I still love all the characters but like hifumi is like a comfort character and him saying he has no one broke me not to mention seeing the photo’s of all of them alive before the killing game makes me think how they all could have lived and been friends but also had me think that danganronpa really is messed up
