Dude I love all motorcycle racing dirt / track is my favorite but I live all motocross and I have a dirt bike and street bike also. But you're obviously talking nonsense. NASCAR is the biggest of all racing sport's and was for quite a long time the fastest growing also. Every NASCAR race is sold out in tickets and some seats are sold out years in advance for the rich people who have money to do that. The only NASCAR race I can go to near by is in las Vegas and it's sold out every year since I've been going 10 years or so. Most nascar tracks will hold 100,000 people or more some are less but still alot of people and never a empty seat. I don't love nascar like I do sx motocross. But it's way more popular I don't think they need anything to show them what racing is.
yes lets compare stock car racing to motocross racing, you sir are a genius. i like both because they’re not even comparable, that’s such an ignorant statement.
ET is a mx superhuman when he's on man can flat out rip on a bike. Marvin was on his ass the whole way and riding fast too but when ET is on his game is amazing to watch dude sends it.🚀🚀🚀. Edit also 2021 season ET looks like he's lost his passion for the sport or something he just isn't in full send mode this season. He's still fast but not as aggressive I'm thinking maybe he wants to retire and is just collecting a few extra checks or maybe he needs a change in team or bike or both going back to HRC and a CRF change up plus some team movement might fire him back up any one else see what I'm seeing? And or thinking?
A couple of issues with this statement lol. ‘Officially’ by who??? You ‘officially’ titled him as such? How does one get this title by sabotaging his own SX season 2 years in a row? GOAT stands for ‘greatest of all time,’ so saying it’s for 2018 is contradictory. If you DID mean ‘greatest of ALL time,’ then I think you must’ve just started watching mx...
john smith or the other way around really depends what track there on but Herlings cant ride for 6 weeks broke collar bone just had surgically repaired
john smith highly doubt it. A good race yes but as far as consistency tomac is on it. Reminds me of an older charmichael with how he paced a moto at everyones 10 was his 7 or 8. He looked reserved calm and consistent always staying in control. Seems every gp rider has a difficult time with that.
Marvin had a bit more speed , but not enough to pass . Track was a bit single lined with big ruts so hard to pass . great racing and good to see somebody challenged Tomac for the win
Im sorry but these guys just dont give me the racing chills I used to get when watching Villopoto and Dungey and Stewart and Reed and RC the GOAT go at it....
The season started out with a stacked field but we quickly lost Anderson, Christian Craig, Weston Peick and no Grant, Bogle, Cooper Webb or Cole Seeley. It could have been an awesome year, but still pretty good.
plot twist: Tomac was in control the entire race. why run an extremely fast pace with high risks if he can simply run a pace just fast enough to keep his opponent behind him with less risks?
It appears that MM's KTM has a slight edge over the ET's Kawie in the power dept. However ET's all out guts & brawn will be the determining factor in winning the 2018 motocross series.
It's crazy to me how they can never find a full track of riders they can at least keep up with everybody else it's like as soon as the third lap starts people start getting lapped I understand that the factory bikes have 80 plus thousand dollars invested into them but it seems like every year it's a three-person show and that's it makes you think how hard it would be to win a race if everyone on the track was on the same level though
Freakin lappers... once you are a lap down your are NOT in the race. Just pull off and get the freak out of the way. Same in SX. Good race for sure. Glad ET3 won. Not a fan of Marv anymore.
Maverick224 you obviously don't realize that Marvin is famous for cross jumping on people. ET3 gave him a taste of his own medicine. Marvin is a chump.
What's wrong with all the Musquin haters? Reminds me of the Jean Michel Bayle's days when the American MX' fans had a chance to witness one of the most gifted riders to ever grace the motocross world but still spewed their hatred because he was kicking some poor American hackers' rears. Me, I'm just happy to enjoy some great MX riding, be it by an American, a German or a French.. Stop the Musquin's hatred; this guy is a good egg and a fantastic rider. Not a mean bone in him. He will give Tomac a run for his money for the rest of the season... so sit back and enjoy.. Tomac who refuses to acknowledge Mesquin congrats' move at the end of moto2, excuse me but.. what a little prick! Dude.. this ain't a war and you've done your share of block passes in the past. Chill out.
you don't win MX championships being the nice guy, Tomac has found that out the hard way. M.M. is a good rider, he is also a dirty rider, and that's ok, but then don't also play the victim and milk sympathy because other riders confront you and give you cold shoulders, Marvin is the prick here. Tomac busts his ass and rides hard, and he is tired of being the Victim of "circumstances". he calls it as he sees it. No need to be besties with your rivals. all the greats were disliked by Thier vivals.

There's a huge difference between Jean Michelle Bayle and Marvin Musquin. Musquin is a good human being, a nice guy. He's glad to be racing in America, he loves it here. Marvin and his wife Matil are always friendly, cordial, and polite with the press/media and just about everyone they talk to. Jean Michel Bayle (and David Vuilemin as well) was an arrogant little anti-American prick. He was rude, conceited, short tempered, barely tolerant of those he spoke with, thought he was better than everyone else, and a showoff.... I was glad as hell when he "retired" from motocross/Supercross and went on to MotoGP, he got his ass handed to him by everybody including the Americans in the (then known as World Championship Motorcycle Grand Prix) circuit. I believe his best GP finish was a fifth! Good to see him fade away into obscurity, history will forget him... : )'
@ timm white Everybody's entitled to his/her own opinion, even kyle stewart who thinks Musquin is a "dirty rider" lol. Look, JMB didn't speak a word of English when he arrived in the States. As a very young and super talented kid, he had to face right away the most dreadful and hostile environment you can think of (even within his team), and became the villain because he was whipping a## "fresh off the boat"... You ought to give the guy some slack and understand why he built himself an armor. He was plain HATED and that was his way of dealing with the situation. That being said he is (to me at least) arguably the most gifted motocross racer ever, and his crossover to road racing, that has never been done at this level, was not as bad as you make it sound. He had a couple of poles in 500 and remember what kind of competition he had to face (Doohan, Crivillé, Kenny Roberts Jr, Biaggi, Rossi)!!! He's doing just fine. He's still involved in promoting Honda MX (like Freddy Spencer in road racing), has his own riding schools for road-racing and MX and he looks terrific and content every time I see and hear him on RU-vid. Cheers!
This Marvin Musquin rides and plays dirty. He tends to block, brakes intentionally in front of bikers, and un- excuse bumping, thus creating confusion to fellow riders.... 😤🖕🏿
Marvin that is ur best u can do... if that behind would Tomac and you were front... then Tomac would have already passed you---clean of course and take the lead. so Tomac proved he is the best compared to u
@reemo, learn to spot the difference dude, they were both riding on the edge, both making mistakes. great racing by both of them !! rear end all over the place? that call pushing the fucking limits dude!!! I wish i was able to make those same mistakes and maintain my momentum
Neither of you guys get it. When Tomac turns it up, Marv cant hang with that rawness. Tomac let him go the first moto. He was clearly uncomfortable. Stop watching Tomac this moto and REALLY focus on Marvin. He was a mess ready to fall part like he has done all season so far.
deckard163 this reminds me alot of the ol RC vs Stewart. Stewart could hang with RC many races but Stewart couldn't perform under pressure. Tomac is much more focused and reserved than marvin but rides the same pace or faster.
