The gang was so efficient this episode! Sometimes I find combat boring but in High Rollers everyone had such cool moments and its fun to watch. Spoilers Also that music when they were talking to Valla really got me lol

Is anyone else just a bit suspicious of their new Fire Elf friend? I know he was suffering madness but what if it was all an act to gain the party's trust? Mark planted the idea of shapechanging succubi who change to mirror the races of their targets and he just seems like such a perfect Male Aila... Hope I'm just being paranoid. Aila deserves answers! I'm caught up now and excited to watch live!

55:20 what Aila did was just the shove attack which only replaces one attack, so she would still have another attack "Using the Attack action, you can make a special melee attack to shove a creature, either to knock it prone or push it [five feet] away from you. If you have multiple attacks with the Attack action, this replaces one of them." (Pg. 195 of the PHB) Since the mage was only moved 5ft that's a shove, and the flavouring of having it be Aila picks them up and tosses them shouldn't change that. But let's say it was a grapple as you said. A grapple still only replaces one of your attacks. "... you can use the Attack action to make a special melee attack, a grapple. If you're able to make multiple attacks with the Attack action, this replaces one of them." (Pg. 195 PHB) If you decided that due to the flavouring of the action that you mainly provided that it was both a grapple and a shove then I think that's a bit rude. These rules are easy to learn so either you, Katey or the rule reminding Tom should get these locked down

If the range of the weapon is 20 ft you don't incur an opportunity attack unless you move 25 feet away, although to be fair they're lucky they didn't just trash the ship

i would have done the charm person thing differently. I would have said nova knew they weren't humanoid. That was extremely harsh on marks part, not a great DM call in my opinion
