Do you use The Good and The Beautiful Lit curriculum or just their book list? I'm interested in using Salt+light next year, but am unsure if I'll need to add a lit curriculum for my high schoolers.
Would love, love, love more videos like this! Also you mentioned your history and science...I'd love to know more about what your using and how. Thanks so much!! ;)
Thank you for sharing. I have advanced readers but I homeschool my youngest sister and it's hard to know what the best to choose for her reading level which so far has been on par with your daughter.
This might seem like a silly question but how do you know the kids are actually "reading" the books? My son (8th grade currently, but he's doing HS1 in TG&TB) will read anything and he does so VERY quickly. He would read thru most of the pile you show in a couple weeks. Are there assignments that accompany the readings? I'm switching to Salt+Light in August but I'm starting to collect the core books now to spread out the costs.
I love The Sea around Us! My daughter read The Restless Flame, I love St. Augustine and St. Monica as well. I will be getting the one on St. Helena. I hadn't seen that one. Thank you! We use the TAN saint books for the littler grades and Vision books for the middles. Great pics!
YESSSS!!! We love all the Saints books!!! I love learning about them and so do the kids. They’re relatable on a human level and inspiring some of the unbelievable hardships they endured.
SaltyTribeCo Encounter the saints from Pauline Books and Media are another great choice. They are about in between TAN and Vision books in length. Same story format. Beautiful reads.
@@129kittykati Hey, I sold that part of my company a couple months ago. I would search lamp + light on facebook to find the group. There's a new website and owners! They are continuing with the outlines I already wrote.
I would just try searching then, I’m sure it will come up. I don’t have any of the new information for lamp + light since it has new owners. But it’s still going 💗
