A few days ago someone released a vid showing a yellow challenger get peeled open even worse and they even had security cam footage of the crash. Way over 100 mph into an immovable concrete pillar.
Those guard rails are like can openers. Crashed my 69 Camaro and it took it like a champ. Crashed my 94 Toyota and it crumbled like tin foil. They don’t make them like they used too.
Be thankful you never seen this I have seen all kinds of bad accidents worse than this even seen a car that was in pieces and the driver was still alive in the car seat on the side of the road. Of course he was drunk too. Whats crazy is I saw things before I became a VFF trying to become full time FF and EMT. Be safe buckle up its crazy out there.
A car was designed to do one thing . Get people from Point A to Point B safely . But now everybody wants to be a NASCAR driver and Speed is King . Accidents like this are the result .
As a former traffic reporter, we never called it an "accident" since someone caused the incident. Crash, collision, moving incident, police activity was generally the vernacular used in reporting. Regarding your point, however, you are spot on.
It's truly sad to see and hear someone's life was snuffed out over something stupid, if it was speed or alcohol. I live off of this loop and hear them racing every day and especially on Fridays and weekends, don't get me started on the motorcyclists on their Ninja's and the like. Really annoying.
For what reason alcohol speed rage it's uncalled for so many lives lost and so many families lost 💔 so many more love one's and material things is not important life is and was. It's sad and horrible parent's lost the adult son's, daughters, teen son's, teen daughter's future college students being in wrong place at wrong time I saw it I was really sadden they are not related to me but it is felt.
I know they do things bigger in Texas but OMG! I’ve watched hundreds of these videos and this Hass to be in the top five worst accidents I have ever seen. It’s amazing anybody survived. 🙏🙏 RIP to all the people that lost their lives these are life-changing incidents very sad😓
We need to watch these type of vids when applying for a drivers lisence so we know what we get in to it. not just a driving lesson Aproval. Yor car can turn into your coffin in a split second. RIP.
Unfortunately two soldiers died when they hit the back half of the first car that was cut in half when he hit the guardrail. Very sad that one of the soldiers had many deployments to the Middle East and came back safe, but died in car accident. 😢😢😢

I’d love to see a video of what actually happened! It usually pretty easy to put everything together, but with this wreck there’s just so much going on, so many cars and so many marks on the road.
This one might top the high speed crash i saw of a Yellow Challenger hitting a highway concrete support post. Havent seen the floorboard with seats attached still ripped out in a crash.
Makes me wonder about how safe new cars are to odd hits. Crumble zones hit on a 90 degree then shears the modular shell. Front seats, floorboard and firewall separated, but left doors, dash and steering wheel with the shell. Everybody needs to relax and understand that we're all running late. Being 20 minutes late shouldn't kill you. Or others.
Sounds like this was actually two accidents. According to the narrative, the soldiers that died were in the car that burned and it hit cars that had been involved in another accident on the freeway. So that car that’s all torn up with the engine and the seats and everything knocked out of it was probably sitting at an angle across the road and got smacked by the other car that caught on fire.
“An investigation by law enforcement revealed that a 2020 Kia Rio, driven by 27-year-old Jhairo Ajtun Martinez, was going northbound on Loop 375 and veered right colliding into the guardrail, splitting the car apart. A news release from the El Paso Police Department stated that the Dodge Charger was speeding and continued traveling several hundred feet onto the Iron Medics on-ramp, eventually crashing and catching fire. Ugh what a mess. Rarely see cars with severe unrecognizable damage like that. RIP my Army brothers. This was totally unnecessary, probably some drinking and Speeding. What an awful scene.
Or it was a car that was broke down on the side of the road, and someone stopped to help, the people that stopped got smoked. Read the description........... Don't assume.

The Kia was stopped trying to help another car when it was hit by the car the soldiers were in (it's the one farther down the road that shows burn damage the two in the front seat of the Dodge died when they were unable to escape the fire, two others in the back seat survived but were both seriously injured with one of them being ejected from the vehicle. The people in the Kia ( the one with the seats and floorpan quite aways from the rest of the car) were injured but survived. Says a LOT about the passenger restraint system Kia automobiles.

I drive for a living...Charger drivers are the worst, followed by Challengers, then probably Mustangs. Probably nothing to do with the car as much as the drivers who buy them. If one of these drivers offer you a ride home from the bar/anywhere...think twice.

I live in El Paso, and unfortunately, the speeders have gotten out of control. It’s like a “thing” here now. Seems like some main streets are used for racing now. They don’t learn, and these people have no regard for their lives, let alone the life of others.
In horizon where i live people are getting crazy tailgating then swerving around in opposite lanes of traffic ...always in a hurry ....speed limit is 30 on most roads out here ...they want to do 60+ on every road
I don't know but if you look at every crash that a car hits a guard rail its ripping cars apart and its either the cars are using cheap metals or the guard rails need stronger metals to me.
Looking close at the seats, they have the emergency brake between them ! Front seats.....and it appears 2 tires or axles alone further down the road.....unreal sight

Rambo, 32, and Spc. Malvin Kyei-Baffour, 21, died when a Dodge Charger caught fire after hitting the wreckage of another car crash early Sunday on Loop 375 near Iron Medics Drive in East El Paso. The two soldiers died trapped in the fiery wreck. Backseat passenger Ruby Navarrete, 21, was ejected from the car during the crash, police said. The other backseat passenger, Luis Aneudy Velasquez, 35, was pulled from the burning car by three good Samaritans, police said. Martinez, Velasquez and Navarrete were all taken to hospitals with serious injuries. "

I’m so glad we weren’t out this happened. I literally would have had a heart attack cause one that car looks so bad and two actually seeing people in the car trapped and not being able to get out or get help 😭😭
I saw a body cam show one time and a police man luckily witnessed a bad accident of someone who got rear ended almost as bad as this one. He ran up to the lady that had got hit in the crash and used his fire extinguisher, then he pulled her out off the car . Even after doing all that when he pulled her out the woman looked all burned and I thought for sure she was dead but somehow she survived!
ive seen far worse...back in 96 a young lady returning home from collage fell asleep behind the wheel n her car crossed the median n was then struck head on by a 4x4 that had a serious lift kit. the 4x4 sheered the complete top half off the car completely exploding the young lady's body spreading it across 4 lanes of traffic. the 4x4 was then rear ended by a mother driving a mini van. the mother was instantly killed but her young son, a toddler actually survived without a scratch. we were stuck in traffic for over an hour while we watched people walking along picking up pieces of the girl putting them in red bio-hazard plastic bags. there wasnt a single piece recognizable left of her....just chunks.....please folks, drive carefully....you never know
I've seen this as well with a 'crotch rocket' motorcycle that ended up caught under the wheels of a semi while they were trying to 'split' the traffic on a freeway. They were literally walking down the road,looking in the ditch,on the shoulder and underneath the wrecked & stopped cars (It caused a chain reaction wreck behind it) trying to find all the pieces of what turned out to be two persons,a Male & a Female.
That sounds horrifying... A friend told me another story of a neighbor who was driving under a bridge and which someone jumped off as she was passing. The body landed on her car totaling it. Thank the woman was okay. Absolutely sick that this person could have also taken the life of an innocent person...

If you are speaking about the hunk of metal with a tire attached at 4:40, that's no motorcycle, it's the entire frame and suspension that kept the 2 front wheels attached to the Kia. I still can't figure out exactly what happened here but there were at least 2 cars moving at excessive speed.
That Kia was spinning like a top after impact. Threw the seats dead right after impact. After the cars structure ripped in two after the guard rail impact. But how damn fast was the black car going !?? Wooow !
The Blue or Silver Car is a 2020 Kia Rio and the burned car is a Dodge Charger. The deceased were the two front occupants of the Dodge Charger, the lone Kia Rio Driver Survived the collision with the guardrail.

@@savannahkorben7353 fuel injection requires higher pressure than in the old carburetor days so in high impact crashes fuel lines rupture spraying gasoline under pressure onto hot engine or exhaust parts or wiring that is torn apart creating the perfect atmosphere for a fire.

My guess is that when the car desintegrated, the e brake cable got pulled, like... from the body itself and when you pull it the e brake pulls itself, the handle i mean.

The fun we had…however, in this accident, I think it was an “Oh Shit” bar or the cable engaged it when it split in two. Still a bad scene…worst one I’ve seen in a long time; And I was an EMT in the 80s!! 😥
Best of wishes for a speedy recovery. My brother and sister-in-law were almost killed by an impaired driver on 11/20. My sister-in-law can now get around fairly well, and my other is just getting used to walking with a walker or cane. He still needs a 7th surgery on his leg…

That little blue KIA Car came apart very easily. Clearly not enough spot welds and thick enough metal to at least hold the car together during impact. Have what under control exactly??? It’s impossible for cops to be everywhere. El Paso’s population Is almost 1,000,000! Compare that to police work force which is around 1000! Individual people make the choice to speed or not and when they do situations like this happen. It’s tragic. Two people lost their lives and your taking about taxes🤦🏽♀️😒 you think there should be change join the police force and help.
My paramedic teacher told me years ago when i was studying to become an EMT that the number one killer is speed when your driving super fast and lose control of your car chances are you won't live to tell about it And those words resonated in my mind ever since i only wish my late paramedic teacher was still alive today to keep teaching his wisdom to these young careless drivers Who knows maybe his words of wisdom could have saved some of their lives today May these two people who lost their lives RIP 🙏🙏
The speed limit on the 375 Loop is 65mph. The majority that speed there are soldiers since most soldiers live in East and Far East El Paso. See it Mon though Fri. It will never change.

There are some other cars there, such as the Honda Accord and the blue car, that hit someone, could had been the Kia and the Honda the original accident or the Kia and the blue car or some other combination. A serious but not that serious of an accident. The driver/passenger of the Kia left the car. The wreckage of the Kia blocked the road (at least partially). Then the wreckage of the Kia got hit by the Charger in high speed (as was described by the official note), and the wreckage of the Kia was only then pushed into the guardrail and split apart. AFTER it was hit by the Charger. Just a theory.

The people speeding probably dont care about insurance lol or speeding fines. The traps might work though. If they're already committing the crime its likely they aren't going "hmmm how long is the sentence if I kill someone?" They don't care thats why they're doing it.

Kia crashed into the guardrail, destroying the car. Charger came along and crashed into the wreckage of the Kia, continued on for a ways then burst into flames. Driver of the Kia survived and I don't know how. There were four passengers in the Charger.Two in the front seat, the soldiers, and two in the back seat. One person in the back seat was ejected and the other person in the back seat was pulled from the wreckage by a good samaritan. They could not free the soldiers in the front seat of the Charger who perished as the car became engulfed with flames.
According to witnesses the Kia Rio struck the guardrail and split apart with the rest of the car ending up in the right lane where it was then struck by the Charger that caught fire and continued on.
What a crazy and huge scene. And at least one car was really hauling. Looks like either racing or a single car crash that turned into a nightmare by a speeder. The other cars involved look like they got caught up in the debris from the first one or two initial collisions.

I seen a wreck like this on I76 east bound just past the Rt 1 split. I almost threw up when I drove by. It smelled like a mixture of gas, blood and burnt hair
