This cutting-edge solution combines robotics, vision technology, and precision engineering to optimize bag stacking and packing processes.
System Components:
The system integrates the SR-12iA robot equipped with conveyor tracking vision and a FANUC R-1000iA/80H robot for palletizing. This robot efficiently tracks bags on a back-lit conveyor belt, capturing their profiles for precise handling.
Bag Handling Process:
1. Bags move along the conveyor belt.
2. The camera captures bag profiles.
3. The robot targets bags based on conveyor tracking data.
4. Bags are picked and placed onto stacks.
5. Stacks of 12-13 bags proceed down the conveyor for gaylord packing.
6. The FANUC R-1000 robot arranges the stacks in the gaylord container.
7. Completed gaylords are ready for automated mobile robot (AMR).
8. A second gaylord is stacked on top of the first elsewhere and returned to the cell for continuous palletizing.

A footprint of 280 x 364 mm, weight of 53 kg, and 900 mm reach ensure maximum efficiency in terms of space and motion range.
