High speed turn with Tohatsu 20 HP on a Candu Jr. Mini Tugboat

Our fir dept uses a Tohatsu 4 stroke to power auxiliary pumps. Dependable and reliable.

Hi I have the same tug boat. I see yours planes and turns nicely. I have finally got mine on the water for tests. I got up on the plane and all of a sudden the tug pulled to the left really harshly tipping the boat. I killed the power and I ended up facing 180 the other way. I was wondering what you have done to make yours plane nicely and turn at speed. Do youhave pictures of you hull undernath i can compare for any differences or have any advice. Thanks. I have a 30hp tohatsu on it.

This Tohatsu 20hp. Is it a diesel inboard? Seems like a lot of juice if it is " outboard" & there seems quite a few passengers on board = load

What is its crusing speed?
