Bart if you read your comments, to answer your question, there are multiple games in every borough, and all over Long Island. ALL stakes and all game types: limit, pot limit, no limit. Holdem and Omaha. I know only a few mixed games spots, but they do exists. Every single day. The rakes are usually pretty disgusting, but the action is...hmm how can I put this, definitely Street.

“Chin” Christian Soto, has admitted (good for him) that while dealing private games in NY he would rake whales more and cut his boys (regs) slack when raking pots. This was said AFTER the HCL “incident” where an ((upset)) pro was dismayed after losing a hand to a VIP and INSISTED foul play. That was then backed up by the “solve for Y” podcast and many tall horses were mounted, and many good names were smeared.. #neverforget

On the bad runout for a 3b on the 45689 board you dont think villain could be jamming there all day with 2p? I think thats a pretty clear value jam if you are in villains show with 2p or a set. That board does not hit 3b range enough to be that worried about better 2p. And i think you want max value against an overpair which you are against a lot of the time

You can smell NY from 5+ miles out on 95. There is a layer of “haze” around it. Seriously, look at that city from 10 miles out on the highway and tell me you want to live there.
