Wow. Thank you for the tour and for carefully explaining each part of the process. And good for Leo. He is investing his time and money and energy wisely and has a beautiful farm to show for it!
hello from northern wisconsin - really like your vid's . thanks for including solar prices & the types of fruit trees / plants . all goes well ill be living on palawan apx 16 months . salamat po .
I'm really sorry to hear about your allergy,I' do liked to watch the show esp. This guy about he's farm and solar tech. And how he water his plant. Hope could see more about his growing plant's.
Marang is not jackfruit. Jackfruit is called nangka in bisaya or langka in tagalog. Marang is a different fruit but of the same family as jackfruit and breadfruit and durian etc.
hi, good day....hope you can share the exact location of this farm? I'm just from Bogo and I'm planning to visit the farm just to observe and replicate his set-up. It will be a great help to have a model already running rather than doing test and error. If possible to have the contact number of sir Leo if okay, so that I can just arrange with him on his available time....thank you very much.
@@staypositive6984 In Mandaue just on the north side of Cebu city there is a very large tree nursery that would probably have what most people would need for fruit trees. It looks like a mango farm with mango trees everywhere. It is on the national highway.
Magandang araw po sir.. ask ko lng po kung gaano kalakas ung pressure ng pump nyo? Kung may 1/2 hp ang gagamitin kaya b ang 2 hectare para s irrigation? Ty po
He pumps water into a tank on a hill on his property and uses the gravity pressure from the tank to run his drip system. He drips different sections of his farm at a time, he does not drip all his farm at the same time. He has water lines with several valves that he will turn off or on to drip each area. So you need a well and a pump that will pump enough liters/gallons per hour to keep your tank full when running your drip system. The pump needs to pump enough volume not necessarily pressure.
He also runs his water pump off his solar system so he has no electric bill for running the pump. His well also has to have enough water so the pump does not pump it dry. You can't use city water for a farm because it cost too much money for the water bill you must have a good well.
How does the pressure of 0.5 hp booster pump for example can supply water in two hectares farm irrigation.. is the pressure enough? Im going to use it not only for irrigation but general purpose.. since i going to build a goat house i need enough pressure for cleaning the goat house and my worry is if i increase the horse power of the pump like 1 hp just to accomodate the pressure needed in the whole farm it might overload the 1.1kva solar power since were getting all the supply from it..
@@lifeisprecious7222 There are 2 types of pumps - pressure pumps and volume pumps, pressure pumps have low volume and high pressure - volume pumps have low pressure and high volume, so it depends which type you are talking about.
Hi what is the name of that dried grass you put around the plant please? Is it lemon grass or talahib? Your email or contact number for people who needed solar power system. Very informative video and clear English; only I wish you blow your nose next time to stop that sound of sniffling! Thanks!
allan delfin the solar equipmEnt was bought in cebu city, not sure of the store name where it was bought but total price is about 40,000 pesos or $2000 USD.
antonio dagdag if I understand your question correctly, the plants really like the drip system and grow much faster and produce much more, maybe 2 to 3 times more.
Joey albert Bueno you csn buy the pressure pump at Ace Hardware or at Belmont hardware in Cebu city. I bought one at Ace for about 4500pesos. Belmonts price was just a little higher.
floods ? by this time tomorrow,,i could have apx 24'' of new snow . by all means keep me posted,,of all your progress on the sunset resort . salamat po..stay safe ..
ariel campehios Yes I was using drip irrigation in the late 1980's but things are maybe 50 years behind the USA in many ways. Leo is the first and only person that I have seen here using drip irrigation and the only farmer to use solar that I have seen too and it is making a big improvement in his farm production.😊
Cristobal Barrete The 220volt pump with the small pressure tank can be purchased at Ace Hardware in SM city mall or at Belmont Hardware in Mandaue, they may also have a DC voltage pump too. The solar panels and inverters are available thru many solar suppliers in Cebu City, I'm not sure of the solar stores names. I hope this is helpful.
