Welp Looks like this deck is the top preforming in the entire game mode right now stats wise LMAO... After Playing More High Voltage Here are some extra notes: Living Tribunal / Ironman Stuff is Wild Kang is not a meme Jugg & Shang are the main Tech worth running Kazar and Shanna are cracked More to come...
Easily the best new mode they've added imo. No stakes, just fast and fun. No losing bubs or cubes or whatever either. It's a nice low stakes busted gamemode. I love it!
If this was permanent in snap it would be all I would play. Give people a casual way to play the game and have fun and complete their missions. It would only make the game better and more fun for everyone.
Funny thing about this mode is (and I'm not sure whether to consider this an upside or a downside): Winning or losing the games? Doesn't really matter all that much. Missions are going to supply the vast majority of the volt points you get in this event, so once you do those you can basically get on with your day. Compared to Deadpool's Diner this feels like it's going to be a very low-stress event. Also, this is the new Proving Grounds for purposes of grinding your main-game missions and alliance bounties (at least the ones that don't involve snapping or cubes).
I won't say replace Conquest. It's fun in it's own ways. But High Voltage is probably the most fun I had in months. Just the adrenaline of killing people's play with Zola over Alioth is too much fun.
High Voltage is so fun ! Guys, you don't have to spend your gold to get up to Agony / Iron Man, just do your three missions every eight hours before the refill ! (I'd love for the mode to stay haha)
I love this game mode it does away with some of the flaws conquest has. The player with the niche deck can’t retreat until they get that “perfect hand”. And they can’t prolong the game in hope of your retreat. It’s either you win or you don’t. And it boils down to what you can do with what you get. Meaning you must focus on high impact cards at every cost. Your deck must be flexible. I love that the Hela decks are taking a back seat.
This is the best thing they have cooked up since launch. I love everything about it, I'm playing a full on greed only big boys and girls deck, everything over 10 power. It's so fun, and I see so much experimentation right now, a completely wild and open meta. And we are getting some great rewards on top of that. It's amazing.
The first deck that I tried right out of the gate was a zoo deck, and I was surprised how consistent it was given the game mode. I ran 12 matches last night, 6 times with zoo, 6 times with surfer. Zoo was definitely more consistent.
I wish this game would stay forever! its so great! Talk to Ben for us Cozy and lets make that happen! Much lover brother! Great high quality video as always!!!
This needs to stick around. Or more gamemodes that do something similar in fun to this. What a tremendous idea. Beautiful chaos and super unique deck building and new interactions. New cards are good and impactful. Some 6 turn busted cards are useless. Love this
Lol, i already have Agony, now to look what i can do with her ^^ I used these on high voltage: Echo, Silk, (both more for fun and not knowing what else, but also both saved my ass, though Silk obviously is very random), Bishop, Patriot (for Ultron), Omega Red (especially great), Thing (just a cheapish extra high power with Patriot), Klaw (often to help Omega Red win), Spider-Woman, Onslaught (with Omega red usually), Ultron (total MVP), Sasquatch (for a few extra high power plays), Hulk
Eh, she isn't doing too much for most of those, you want to use her with cards that want a extra two that couldn't just play a 1/2 alongside it. Think about things like Deadpool, Sebastian Shaw, or Black Panther. I think she is really good into destroy because even if you don't use her on Deadpool, you can use her on X-23 or Wolverine and that still feeds Knull every time you kill it, stays for the venom buff, doesn't clog, etc
This is what we want from a different game mode, something that gives the game a new spin and breathes life into cards that aren't as played on other modes.
I'm about to jinx myself but I've had an 18-0 run in High Voltage using my Arishem deck. The highlight was one game I won when M'baku came off the top rope to win a lane for me (he was a random card, I had no idea he was in the deck.. lol).
Hi Cozy. Loving the vids ! I’m a new player to Snap. Only started playing last week. Would love if you come make an updated new player guide in the recent future especially with the upcoming anniversary !
Actually had Cozy’s Hulkling deck from a couple seasons back and it’s doing pretty good since it’s all about filling up everywhere and dumping out cheaper big cards.
I was going to say, I thought I saw Hala. But that was during an accidental normal game. Then I realized Hala would be pointless when the game doesn't go past turn 3.
I know they won't keep this game mode because its way too good. Your Greed deck is crazy. I don't have Grandmaster Sage or Phastos so im out...Ain't 3 cards to replace them in this deck and mode. Great stuff Coz
Really, really love the format of this video. The info/discussion element is helpful to help people come up with their own deck, followed by gameplay. "new haircut aside" killed me.
High Voltage is extremely fun game mode. Losing in Diner felt awful. Losing in High Voltage I feel like I wanna go again to try and pull off a sick play.
Actually, WarMachine>Inifinaut>Taskmaster has worked pretty well for me as a "mini" package in a couple different decks for me so far. Well, that was 5 hours ago.
I’m kicking ass with my discard deck so much that I haven’t changed the deck. Tomorrow I’ll try something else but today I’m going with the “if it’s not broken” mentality
Hey Cozy you might want to note that Aero is OP in this mode since it ruins most combo setups. After that I found good results with Havok, Dr.Doom, and Cosmo.
Greedy decks suck now. Didn't take long for everyone to just run Cosmo and Alioth. I've been farming them with a Skaar deck and just slamming big points.
This mode is lots of fun. Only thing I am unsure about is whether one can get all rewards just with regular missions, or do you need buy missions to hit all of them?
My two mvps have to be us agent and iron man. Thanks to my opponent playing a super scrull in onslaught citadel I wound up winning a location -23 to a negative triple-digit number lmao
Holy shit a cool new game mode that isn't tedious and doesn't have some insane card gate kept behind hours or grinding or tons of money. Am I dreaming? And it's FUN
Don't know about taskmaster, would be the obvious thing to remove, only works if you hit BP and in the first 20 games I played that seemed to never happen.
My fav decks to use is a shield mill or just striaght up shield. Valentina & grandmaster on turn 1&2 is crazy into multiple 6 costs is so much fun. MK is,discounted like nothing and
Thank you for the video :) I just wanted to notice... what was that cut shortly after 15:02 ? Just casually saying, lets see if we get the W? and then cut out of the match! What on earth :D
Hey cozy I have a question, so I was using the GREEDY reveal deck and I noticed when I was playing high voltage I used this combo: white tiger and grandmaster left side, making white tiger make 2 tigers, and then on the next turn I would Odin on the grandmaster side thinking grandmaster would send Odin to the middle to have white tiger go off again but it doesn’t. Am I missing something here?
I got beat by a 5,242,880 power Black Panther today and the funny thing is I still would have won the match if I put down THREE power on the left location
I one thing a REALLY don't like is the greed behind the progression. In order to get to the free card, you gonna have to pump in gold to reset your missions else you're going to be playing this a lot this week.
