Love your sense of humor, from talking to the cows about getting eye protection on to riding the gate, makes me laugh. That was a nice looking gate and nice looking bull and calf. Hi Cole, its great your mum and dad are having a well earned break from the farm. They put all their trust in your hands knowing you will handle everything that needs doing. What's going on with the weather there, one minute it's a drought stopping your corn from growing and now lots of rain with the laneways soaked. I have never seen someone who loves welding gates as much as you do, I know it saves money and you build to your specific needs. I was taking a drink of coffee right when you were nonchalantly videoing while bringing the loader into the barn and there's your dog taking a squat on the concrete, coffee shot out my nose. Don't know why it was funny but it was. Glad to hear you got some rain. :]
Cole, glad you guys are getting rain finally. I live in central Kansas and we have been getting more than enough rain this summer. We were in a drought until June hit. We have gotten over 26” of rain since June. The farmers around us were on track to have the best yielding corn and soy beans in 25+ years until this past Sunday 7/16/23, we had a tree top tornado hit our town of 16,000 people and along came with it, softball hail and flooding. The town is wrecked with damage and now, all the the corn and soy beans are gone, demolished. Nothing left. It’s a tragedy. The entire town was without power for 48 hours. There are still some people currently without power. Our highs are 95+ with humidity, temps are above 105 everyday factoring humidity in. Hope you guys keep getting the much needed rain and my daughter and I love your videos. Keep up the good work!
I am so happy to hear that you’re getting more rain. The corn will be all even in the near future. Unless they have his watching your videos, he’s going to be very surprised by all the gate work that you have done.
I would say it isn’t wise to watch this video in bed at 12:30am. Seeing Cole tell his ladies/fan club to protect their eyes while he welds or it will hurt your eyes. This just cracked me up. I have ear buds in so my husband can’t hear anything. But when I laugh out Loud, it tends to make him jump out of a sound sleep. 😬😂🤣😂

On the border this week and the horror the folks down here see every day is taking a real toll. In the midst of the most heartbreaking situations this stupid song pops into my head and flies loudly out of my mouth, “Sonne farms, Sonne farms, southeastern South Dakota with its natural charms.” Everyone in the place broke out in hysterical laughter. Hey Brian , my brother stopped by Storla Station yesterday & met you. He's from West Virginia , but just recently moved to Mt. I got him started watching a yr ago & he swung by the store... His name is Wayne M. He sent me the pic of the two of you & I realized just how big a fella you are ..lol. I get Cole's reference to sausage fingers & "Brian tight".. See ya nxt month maybe. I don’t know why the north east and the south east are getting so much rain. We got 5 inches last night. If I knew a way to send it back your way, I sure would ! You’re in “The tough get going” mode for sure ! Prayers for rain !
amazing how much pep gets back in your step over a few rain showers...., been there the last 5 years so I get the bad feelers when ever I see ag guys struggle with drought.
I heard one of the cows saying, Hey isn't that welder guy the same one that brings us perlets ? Then they all hurried over to see if it was. Good thing that you had the mask on otherwise they'd have been mad that you didn't bring them perlets.
Delighted you guys got the rain. All that brown water running off the feedlots tho. If that was in Ireland or the EU we would be in a lot of trouble for pollution 😂
