After experiencing hurricane Maria (2017), in Puerto Rico, readiness is a priority in my hurricane season list. I have been thru a Cat 1,2,3,4,&5. Maria was a Cat 5; scared the heck out of me. I pray that nobody loses their life over a hurricane this year. Prepare you guys....prepare.

I don’t ever remember them comming out with a special video to warn us about the upcoming-comming season and I have been here for half my life on and off. It’s been 14 now since I came back the last time. I went thru Irma and Ian! Ian was BAD! I feel I have the right to say I been in an actual hurricaine. Lost half the house and the front of my home looked no different then the golf of Mexico! Scary was an understatement. This has me worried! I can promise you, I will NOt be riding nothing out this year! I’m in Punta Gorda/ englewood/ port Charlotte area! Pray for all of us! Some peoples home aren’t even fully repaired from Irma yet!

I agree! Never seen so much coverage, warnings, videos, panels, forecasters, etc.. They are now going up to category 6 and they are saying it will be the greatest ever, most named storms etc. This is the power of HAARP, Geo Engineering & Weather Manipulation. Just like the Tornados we are seeing now, something big is going to happen in Florida this year and I fear we will see an Irma plus Ian unfortunately hitting a few major cities this summer and fall. Flooding, power outages, tornados and cat 6 storms will go down in history this year. It is time to get out of the USA. Weather War and Inflation Financial war is amongst us. Pray and repent and also retreat!

I’m glad he talked about the different programs NOAA has in place to monitor and forecast weather. NOAA has been limping along on a very minimal budget as long as I can remember, which is also why the partnerships are so critical. NOAA is constantly trying to make up for lack of money by getting free stuff from partners, mostly other federal agencies, or piggybacking on their projects. It’s a precarious way to carry out their mission. I hope they got a little bit of a budget bump under Biden, but I doubt Congress approved a very big one. Anyway, I saw some new stuff here that is likely going to save a lot of lives as the weather gets scarier and scarier.

I live inland on the Treasure Coast in Florida. Thankfully, hurricanes are forewarned so you know what may happen. I recently had hurricane impact windows and doors installed and feel it was worth the cost. My garage door is hurricane reinforced and my back porch has floor to ceiling hurricane shutters. It'll still be unnerving when I hear one is coming though. One past hurricane I remember the roof shingles being ripped off. Sounded like a machine gun as the nails were being ripped out of the wood. Another hurricane I remember, sounded like there was a train going by outside at 150mph.

Yes and in some areas of Nevada too, but as a Floridian, I must inform you that the biggest issue with tropical depressions isn’t really the wind - but the sustained/heavy rainfall that quickly adds up, especially in a state that receives a lot of rain in the afternoons. Tropical depressions don’t move as fast as stronger storms and this leads to flooding issues here.

There were still an above average amount last year because of record breaking sea surface temperatures those temperatures are still persistent in the Atlantic basin right now, which could lead to very strong hurricanes this year. Because of La Nina more storms will move towards the U.S and the Caribbean meanwhile in El Nino more storms steer out to sea.

It's happening all over. I read an article about the insurance companies. Everywhere insurance has gone up and policies are being cancelled or not renewed. According to the article insurance companies are paying more for tornados, floods, fires than they have paid out for a major hurricane event. Small insurance companies are going under because of the increase in weather events. I live in Colorado and this is happening because of fires. I lived in this state for over forty years. I have had mandatory evacuations because of fire 3 times. All of them occurred in the last 4 years. According to statistics, a natural disaster that the damage was over a billion dollars fifty years ago occurred every 80 days. Now it's every 15 days. Inflation was taken into account.

That’s a bad take. There are minimum requirements for a tropical wave to be considered a tropical storm/hurricane (winds, pressure, formation, movement, temps, etc). Started out as a Biden promo build back nothing, keep spraying the skies, and fire up HAARP let's get this season rolling. Don't forget wildfires that just startup out of no where.

The power of the largest nuclear weapon ever made is less than a tenth of a percent of the energy in a hurricane. Probably one million times weaker. It's like saying, why don't they stop category 8 earthquakes.

Season Hurricane predictions are not accurate. They are loosely based statistcal models that are based on models. Models that have correlation doesn't make them precise or accurate in ways people imply.

@5:36 doesn't even mention the private company putting his government paid satellite into space but God forbid he forget to mention that a bipartisan bill that passed by JOE BIDEN continues to pay his salary. A true bureaucrat. But the best part is the what ended up as the Trump hurricane cone at @21:52
