Hi GV, just have to compliment you on your photography and drone footage…..the way you filmed the entrance just then was truly beautiful…the snow, added to the beauty, but you ALWAYS seem to get some wonderful and entrancing views. Also wanted to Thankyou for taking time to show us the inscriptions on some of the grave stones, but to just stop and read them out for us. Most people I’ve seen who “try” to do walking round cemetery’s don’t seem to have time! Which is sad. Here in Highgate you found little overgrown places and stones that probably hadn’t been visited in years…I imagine the people who had passed on were pleased to hear their names spoken and know they had not been forgotten. I’m glad you found a number of the Angels you love so much there….Thankyou again,,just had to tell you how much your work in making these videos is really appreciated….And Sue too of course! 😘💕xx God bless you! 😘😘🙋♀️love Helen 🙋♀️xx💕😘🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🕊🕊
Hi Helen I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and thank you for being here with us on our journeys ❤️ 2022 was a very special year for us. Its the year I started all this and I'm glad I did. Best of health to you and happiness for 2023. God bless you
One thing i noticed whilst i was looking for the ripper victims graves in London was how big the majority of graves were.....Seems to be the same in highgate, some lovely graves/statues/monuments in here....great video mate🙌
Great tourGV so many different individuals that contributed in their own way to our way of life.keep up the good work mate and stay safe, well and happy.God bless you both from ballarat in Oz,👍👍🙏🙏🇦🇺
That was a beautiful tour GV, and yes,I’m glad that you found lots of the Angels your so fond of. I think it would take a week of visiting to take all of this in properly. Doesn’t matter if your a Prince or a Pauper, one things for sure, we all come into this world the same way, and leave it the same ..my mother used to tell me “there are no pockets in shrouds”…I say this because one minute you see a simple grave here, and next a highly expensive and elaborate one, but sometimes it has been an opportunity to make the person’s personality known more. I loved Lord Gavron of Highgates grave stone, having been a printer of books amongst other Things, there was a lovely neat little shelf of “books” incorporated into his headstone, and the photo you found showed what looked to have been a nice happy man. His stone wasn’t too ornate but showed just enough of who he had been, and what he had done. Many old grave stones show the persons address and occupation, which I love to see…gives you the feeling you may have known them during their life time, a familiar feeling. Bless you both for all your hard work, and you GV for taking time to read what’s written…not many graveyard visitors who show their visits bother to do that , so it’s really appreciated, Thankyou. Stay well! Godbless you both. Love Helen 🙋♀️😘😘💕👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🦋🦋
What an beautiful graveyard & it's so well kept, love the masouliems & the history & dates behind it all, thank you so much GV for another great tour God bless & stay safe 🙏🇮🇪🌹
Absolutely amazing . Thank you for sharing. When I was younger I visit it Karl Marx grave is something beautiful about walking through the graveyard with the birds in the background ... Priceless x🙏
Thank you for this video, I’ve always wanted to see Highgate Cemetery, it is so beautiful, and listening to the ravens makes it even more special. Thank you for all you do ❤
I just wanted to thank you for this video......my ex husband would never take me there and now my disability would make it impossible for me to get around... but it is somewhere I always wanted to visit and your narration and wonderful accent made this a complete joy to watch. Thank you so much for your time xx P.s I have subscribed as I am sure I will enjoy your other videos that I am now going to look at xx
Please keep your playlist as updated as much as you can. I can give you more views as your playlist grows. Love your content, accent & tone of your voice. It's very relaxing & soothing 😌.
This is one of my favourite cemeteries. It’s just gorgeous. Thank you for this wonderful journey. I am so glad that you took time to show us even the tiniest details of some of the plots.
Awesome cemetery! These monuments are amazing! It is my understanding, that efforts are being made to clean up a lot of the overgrowth. Too bad you did not bring a flash light to look into those openings in those vaults. Great video, thank you very much GV and Sue. Have a great weekend. 😊
Ps..yes, I understand it was Bruce Reynolds death mask used to create that bust, but huge thanks for your research and sharing the film clip of him talking and the news reel about the train robbery. I was only a child when that happened, but can remember my parents and news papers full of talk and headlines. Two million pounds seems nothing by today’s standards, but back then it was a huge amount of money….It had been a very well planned robbery, but in the end they all got caught. Thanks for that GV…history reminder! Brought memories back! 🎃😉🙋♀️
It's amazing. Its like the cemetery is alive with people all over. You hear so many spirits interacting with each other. No wonder spirits want to latch onto people. It would be boring to be stuck in that cemetery your entire life. If someone interesting comes by, I would latch onto them too.
Sorry im late i have been out with friends celebrating my 76th Birthday .its certianly a very big cemetry im thinking that you and Sue will have to make quite a few more visits .im so glad you both enjoyed your time spent over here and it was nice to have you here. Take care.☘♥️☘
Just found you a few days ago. Love your style! Could listen to you all day...and pretty much have as I have been binging your content. :) greetings from Seattle!
London today, Belfast yesterday, Dublin tomorrow .... sir, you do get around! God bless and thanks for these interesting videos that give one pause to consider one's own life and path. :) I've now watched enough of your videos that I owe you the help of a subscription.... there.... done! I hear the Laeken Cemetery Crypt in Brussels, Belgium is very interesting if you're of a mind to travel that far.
I'm not a fan of angels GV, but I absolutely loved this walkabout with you. A person could easily get lost among all those headstones off the many little tracks and trails! Cheers from Oz.
They have a young girl like Anna in the Cemetery close to me. She died in the 1950s and the picture on her Tomb stone she is wearing a pearl necklace like teenagers used to wear during the 1950s It's mind blowing and very sad at the same time. 😢
My English grandfather-in-law is buried in Highgate Cemetery near the cenotaph for the 'Kinematographer', just inside the fence line. My husband and I went there in 2009 and searched for his marker. But unfortunately, when his wife buried him she could only afford a wooden marker, which is long since gone. When we inquired as to finding it, we were offered to pay 85 pounds and they'd send someone in with a machete and report the results. We declined at that time. LOL
We see how much people have changed from yesteryear, We could do well going back to the values set and respected in past but today we are told to be yourself, leading people to believe they have the right not to care about others in life let alone those dead and gone.
I know your aware but everyone thinks Highgate cemetery is the oldest cemetery in North london , but you and a lot of people know that Kensal Green is the oldest of the Two , I used to live a 10 minute walk from there. I would say though that Highgate is the Grandest one of the two , very interesting what you and sue do , and not at all creepy. Some of the monuments are quite beautiful and grand 🇬🇧🇬🇧
This is the final destination of humans.if some done good deeds follow the God orders and give foods and money to needy peoples this grave will be paradise for him or if someone disobey his God and spent his whole life in drinks, casino no takecare of needy peoples this grave will be Hell for him.

Cremated. Specifically: In accordance with Springfield's wishes, she was cremated and some of her ashes were buried at Henley, while the rest were scattered by her brother, Tom
