I lived in HK just a few years after the Handover, so we have good friends there. Back in 2019 a friend told me that his parents had told him: back then, we were happy the British left, now we’d wish we were still British.

I was born in Hong Kong 1948 those were the good old days. Our family immigrated to San Francisco 1966. Missed British Hong Kong!

Will we see this little land glow up again

God Save Hong Kong!

So sad !
