I would like a number of episodes where the police try to solve the mystery of the decapitated bodies with no Immortals, only by showing what happens from the point of view of the simple people...I believe that it would be very interesting if we saw how the Watchers move strings and cover the killings...
Great show, of the gems of the 90s TV along with Hercules, Xena, and the X-Files. I have one problem with it though, six seasons under its belt and it never gave an origin for the immortals. Instead, it made a bigger mystery by establishing that all immortals are foundlings. I assume that Ahriman was supposed to be tied to the immortals' origin, being their creator god or something. I remember reading somewhere that the original plan for season 6 was a storyline about Ahriman and the origin of immortals but it was scrapped due to Adrian Paul wanting to end the show quickly. That's why the majority of Season 6 was about female immortals, possible protagonists for the spin-off, with the Ahriman storyline being wrapped up in just the first two episodes and Duncan defeating him with "meditation". It's a shame because the Ahriman storyline had such potential too, with Duncan being a "chosen one", as in the one destined to win the Game and face Ahriman in a final battle for the fate of humanity.
I agree. The Gathering would have been an even better episode if that weren't the case. After a good fight scene, Slan Quince kneels on the bridge and tells Highlander to just "Do it!", as if he wasn't able to roll out of the way of Duncan's sword.
Sort of He is more like Dexter in a ways That and many of the immortals he iced Were serial killers and terrorists Kalas & Martin Hyde & Grayson & Kern & Kanwulf & Paul Kinman & Kuyler & Xavier and his student Morgan Few were dirty cops (Crowley and Ballin) And a few were terrorists (Liam O'Rourke & Drakov & of course Kronos and Caspian And the war crimes commiting Simon Killian & Ernest Daimler Lot of them made Dexter 's baddies look like Mr. Rogers by comparison
Except for Barnes/Moore multiple personality guy And Sean Burns And Cullen (the saddest Highlander immortal character death ever) And the one corrupted by his teacher Tarsis (forget the immortals name) And Ingrid Henning None of the other immortals Duncan wacked I felt sorry for. Many of them were just psychopaths.
@imeddiewilson1572 Kenny was Definitely a serial killer Felt bad for Brody and Ross , 2 of Kenny 's Immortal victims. Sadder is the actor who played Kenny died in 2000 at age 19
@imeddiewilson1572 speaking of Amanda I think from the Raven tv series Wilson Geary and Julian Heller and Vladimir Rankov were pure evil. Stefan Collier was the Raven 's version of Tyler King. Andre Korda and Frank Brennan didn't impress me cause the actors also played immortals on original Highlander series. Evan Peyton was a boring villain Though Morgan Kenworthy I liked. Plus, a Immortal stalking a family over a century in some twisted revenge game. That was a good Highlander plot.
lol wait a minute... "youll never find the crystals" quickening -> all they know, all their KNOWLEDGE and power.... ummm yeah he would. that whole episode was a sh!tshow. that 2000 year old redhead just letting herself get killed over a mortal that will die in 20 years like dozens if not hundreds in her past... wtf. and why do all the enemies jsut stand there and get killed BUT Duncan has a blade IN HIS GUT but rolls and kills that egyptian immortal?
@@BoTisHerE1 it happened too fast. He come up on Duncan probably wondering what in the world is he doing by himself fighting no one. He probably was calling His name too.
No, it was the movie Highlander Endgame. SPOILER: The idea was to beat the last superpowered immortal (the one he behead just after connor in this clip and push above the rail). Separately they could not do it, so Connor pushed Duncan in taking his head so he would be powerful enough to behead the other.
Not to diss your editing, but what an incredible collection of abominable off-screen, badly choreographed, dreadfully acted death scenes following the most cringeworthy, starting-class scripted lines. There really only can be one: the original movie.
If the beheadings were shown on camera, the show would be R-rated. You wouldn't want to watch this with your kid If heads were rolling on-screen, right?
