Having played for nearly 20 years and being only 5 foot 6", lost could of the times i have been hit in the throat and head because my tackled could not be bothered to tackle properly. Its nice to see them now being red carded.
I loved the moment Marika Koroibete petulantly whinged like a footballer after getting correctly yellow carded for killing the ball in his 22 after the team had been warned that any further indiscretions would be punished with a sin bin.
Dave Rennie is an awesome coach his resume speaks for itself, his knowledge of the game and his ability to bring teams together....the All Blacks coach Ian Foster, on the other hand, has no right to be coaching, he has done absolutely nothing to deserve the position. His NZ Domestic and Super Rugby record with Waikato and Chiefs are appalling.

If Australia focused on rugby union as much as the all blacks do they’d be the best team in the world. Imagine if all their rugby league players played union. Their team would be incredible.
Union in New Zealand is a lot more accessible and anyone can have a go. In Australia, it's only accessible to rich private school kids, otherwise yes we'd dominate the world

@@Stangelycoloured no they were reds. An english player got a yellow last Saturday for something way less harmful and it barely deserved a penalty but he still got a yellow. In this case the guy shouldered him in the face. If that was Farrell doing that nobody would be complaining and people would be trying to get him in prison
Look back at the last game. Caleb Clarke's tackle was not given a red and the only reason that wasn't given a red was that he didn't get hurt. The AB's red the guy wasn't even fuckin scratched so there are some big inconsistencies there.

Wallabies played so well . Rennie when he was with us at Glasgow did a great job of making us a more accomplished all round team rather than a harum skarum attacking outfit . We really miss him this season .

@@hannesmonaghan8905 How can you even argue that? Both were direct shots to the neck/head with no players dropping height. The second even had no arms wrapped. It's as clear as day and the ref was consistent in the decisions, there is literally nothing to complain about.
@@squirrelboy8947 in both cases there was a slight drop to the ball carrier's stance which is natural preceding impact. In both cases I think it's pretty clear that there isn't any malicious intent, both cards should have only been yellows really.
@@mastermoo3506 the duty of care is with the tackler. If we want dangerous high shots out of the game, then shoulder directly to chin has to be a red card. I can understand the mitigation if the player has slipped to knees or there is a significant loss of height, but for me neither player had dipped that far.

i like laumape but if AB want a distributing 12 he aint the one. his strengths are running and his speed if they used him more correctly he would b amazing imo also absolute bullshit making all blacks fly in before the game
@@azticbangz1792 ALB is a versatile player can play easily 12 or 13 and can adapt to any attacking plan. Laumape is miles behind any current midfield in the squad. Nonu and Smith left a big hole on that positions, it’s now even worse when Crotty-SBW retired.

ALB has had a fair bit of time in the black jersey but honestly hasn’t proved his worth. Especially against England and South Africa...no threat in attack.
First time in the three tests they have looked like the wanted it. Totally different level of intensity and when one of their team mates did something good they got over there and let him know about it. They need this kind of enthusiasm every time they play. Good game boys🤙🏼

They versed an all black team who played one of their worst and undisciplined games with a few starting players sitting out and they edged them by 2 points. Although it's good they got a win, I'm not convinced just yet considering they can't win 2 games in a row to save their lives

the new rules have been created clearly as a response to the issue of life changing injuries arising from concussions during games. It is a big change, but you can at least see the logic in it. I personally think it will end up being seen as the right call. You can't have players retiring with life changing conditions, it'll kill the game.

Sloppy game from NZ. Missed tackles, Ill Discipline. Its like they were in 2nd gear until the 78th minute and then decided to play rugby. Congrats to Aus though.
@@mrcarguy6719 we didn’t play well at all no matter the calls. We had are opportunity’s. Me personally I think the loss was on the shoulders of beauden, perenara and Ian Smith for horrible game management really shows how important Richie is to us

Much better game from Australia - good to see how vastly they have improved in just a week. Ref was totally wrong on the first red card - no way was that deliberate or with bad intent. Tackled players was falling forward. Second red card definitely legit though. NZ made too many mistakes which cost them in penalties against them. All in all a great game of footy though. Both teams played well.

I thought the second was more worthy of a red, the first only looked that bad with 10min of Super slow motion reply. Korubeti's yellow seemed a bit harsh
The ref was hesitant to give the second red card.. I wonder why??? 🤔🤔🤔 also the second high tackle was deliberate... in Ofas case, his tackle technique was perfect. The wallabies attacker only copped a shoulder to the chin because he was falling.. that's outta Ofas control

His shoulder was a little higher than it should’ve been as it could’ve easily driven up off the chest of wright if he wasn’t dipping. Smith needs to come back with Richie at 10, BB at 15, Laumape on the next plane back to NZ and 14 days to think about his overseas contract, S Barrett needs to stop these brain farts (Perth last year as well), Akira to start again - this time with a decent stint, Reece on same flight as Laumape, C Clarke back on left wing, R Ioane on right wing, Goodhue and ALB in centres.

Sorry.. but if you deliberately and cynically tap the ball from the 9's hands (while on the ground) to slow down an attacking movement, that's a card. Doesn't matter if the attacking team is 13 m out from the line. Cynical play like that where players knowingly try to trade a penalty for unfairly stifling a promising attacking movement needs to be deterred. Also I have no problem with any of the cards dished out in this match.. the key part about contact with the head or neck is that intent doesn't matter. The referees are mandated to produce a red when it does (and there are no significant extenuating circumstances).
I thought the ref had an absolute howler but I also thought Australia deserved the win. Hodge was outstanding tonight and the new winger looks really good
Well done Wallabies on a fine win. Our combinations midfield could have have been left to be desired but can't take away from an improved performance from the boys in gold and green.👍🏼🏉
