@@SPrescott2611 she'd be wise to keep her head down, when the Tories get wiped out at the next election if she even keeps her seat the Tories will spend the next Parliament fighting like rats in a sack with someone unhinged like Braverman or Badenoch leading them. When that inevitably fails to get them back into power in 2028-2029 then she would be well placed for a leadership bid and try to bring them back into relevence for 2033-2034. You'd have to be batshit insane to want to lead that party at this point in time
I've just had to get a 2nd lot of new tires because of damage from jagged deep potholes in my town being so badly maintained, there are towns close by that are having bin collections reduced as part of a trial scheme that will eventually roll out to the whole district. We went from NoC to Tories in the last set of local elections and it's consistently gotten worse and worse, our council has put council tax up by the maximum and has had central government write off loans they handed out to Tory run Thurrock council who went under a s114 notice.
@@paulmunster212 it was as funny as promising renters more protection, then passing a toothless bill allowing Tory MP landlords to carry on with no-fault evictions. So not that funny really
@@paulmunster212 is that really necessary? Can you not agree to differ without a personal attack? I do see the irony, but parliament question time and debate is for the most part a performance with a lot of bad actors. We lose nuance when we get caught up with the vitriolic repertoire that we forget wjat had been said, acknowledged, disregarded and smoothed over. Yer man said the housing bill was being debated when.... How.... Voted on... Or did he bypass all commitment to answer with quips and jibes knowing we will have gobbled up and forgotten to be bloody furious?
Angela Rayner is simply bloody brilliant, she has charisma and is able to literally bring Dowden to a little puppy dog. Her one liners and expressions makes her relatable. Dowden, sounds like an accountant.
Week after week it just amazes me to look at Penny Mordant, sitting there looking just completely ashamed and in utter contempt of her colleagues in her own party.
Um Oliver I live in Thurrock, which under a Conservative council and MP we managed to lose a billion and a half pounds and have over the last 3 years raised council tax by over 50%. We now have bags of rubbish on the streets because the council don't empty public bins regularly. Also despite paying for it in our council tax, if we want our garden waste taken we need to pay an extra EIGHTY8 POUNDS a year, and our other bins are now only collected every other week. Thurrock is going to look and smell like the refuse dump down the round by the end of summer. So explain how the frugal Tories, who bankrupted my home town and fly tip rubbish are the ones I am meant to trust with running my borough, let alone the country? * Originally and incorrectly said 8 rather than 80, Michael Cope picked up that mistake.
Dowden is a complete joker. Social Housing waiting lists down? In my area we have more people on the waiting list than we do council houses in the city. Pathetic
Don't worry, when Liebour get into power, I'm sure they'll turf all the illegal economic migrants out of the hotels, and our homeless can take their place. But, oh wait..........
presumably your area has been overwhelmed by migrants and drifters sauntering into the country and receiving free housing ( thank you Segro for pushing up rents by 20% to house these military age interlopers )
Yes £1500 possible CGT 10 years ago against Zahawi £5 million tax evasion , sunaks £35 million non dom tax evasion , hint forgetting 🤡 to pay stamp duty on FIFTEEN property’s he bought , mcvey claiming £300 k for living expenses in a flat when her own house was 1 mile up the road , a pervert Tory mp nicking £14000 out of campaign funds and on and on …. Mind you to a potless Tory that’s ok
@@mrwu2 It appears that Ms Rayner did not pay any capital gains on the £48,500 profit and then Nadhim Zahawi ‘agreed on penalty’ to settle tax bill worth millions so the latter is ok
Bye-bye Tories. Hello Tories called Labour. If you think Labour is any better, you are unfortunately very much mistaken. 2 cheeks of the same Consocalist net zero ass.
Living under a conservative, the pot holes are ridiculous entire road surfaces are falling off and givin an 10mph limit, glass up and down the cycle passes, junkies shooting up in underpasses. It's not even lies it's just utterly disconnected
I live in an area which has been controlled by the conservatives for years. We were one of the first councils to go bankrupt and our roads our in a very shoddy state. The complacency and removal from reality is worrying.
I love when the torries say 'they didnt answer my question.' Your the ones that are supposed to answer the questions this isn't opposition questions time.
Go to help,I am English, and had suffered under this conservative Government, with scandal, change of PM Get a life, may be you are a rich person, this is my country, not for outsiders to rule us.This PM sees his party weakness, but being cunning,he picks ,Europe to. assist his political status, ,he has to realise on President Biden not Trump.
Oliver Dowden MP clearly never used public transport otherwise he might have noticed that there's industrial action more frequently than in France, which he seems to try to mock.
Starmer is meticulous and absolutely the right person for leader. We want hard working leaders who get the job done, not more popularist personalities. Rayner is a very competent deputy and rips the Tories to shreds. Imagine what it will be like when there are only 35 Tory MPs! They probably won't bother getting out of bed 😂
Back in 2002 I was the spokesman for the Home Builders Federation. I did an analysis of housebuilding stats and discovered fewer homes were being built than before the second world war. The Observer ran it as their front page lead and the housing crisis was born. I was on TV and radio almost daily for months and the then Blair government said tackling the shortage was its number one priority. And what's happened in the 22 subsequent years under both Tory and Labour? Absolutely sod all apart from endless waffling about it. Don't expect anything to change regardless of who wins the next GE.
Maybe instead of being a lobbyist for private developers who are just as responsible for the housing crisis we’re in as the government. I notice the home builders federation never raise concerns about workers in the industry eh?
In July 2022, the HBF wrote to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, unhappy about the commitments its members were being asked to make regarding remediation of unsafe cladding. Yeah, there good people the HBF eh.
"lower taxes, more bin collections, more potholes filled, vote tory" and here I am in a midlands town with a bankrupt tory council, almost every single road in town is full of wheel bending holes, most street corners are weekly flytips, there is rubbish on the streets everywhere, and multiple Tory MPs in the county have had to step down for sexual misconduct, multiple people under investigation for fraud or misuse of funds. I live in a violent crime hotspot and I've not seen a police officer walking around since lockdown, other than the CSO who's only interested in people dropping cigarette ends. The area's full of street drunks, dealers, and crackheads strungout on the pavement in the middle of the day. Tory Britain.
I live in Devon. Tory MP, Tory Council, Tory County Council. More pot holes than any other county. Schools failing, hospitals rammed, 3 weeks for a GP phone appointment, no dentists. Absolutely falling apart all under Conservative rule at every level. Our local politics programmes are hilarious as Tory after Tory appears and makes fools of themselves. Only the very dim and very stubborn will vote Tory this year.
@@kevinjohnson3782 do your homework they owe millions in equal pay ,plenty of jobs going vanity projects ,non of labour leaders have gone and thanks to them my council tax is up 21%
@@Harveyjake8077 The Tories have cut central funding for Councils by over 40% since 2015, even more if it's a Labour run one! Sunak himself boasted about it to Conservative members when he was campaigning to be leader, remember?🙄
Really interesting to observe Penny Mordaunt's complete lack of reaction to what Dowden was saying instead of partaking in the jeering and finger-pointing.
Yes, while implying that Labour had in fact been in power for 14 years and not the Tories. Imagine telling someone to take your responsibility for your f🤡ck up to avoid taking responsibility for your f💩ck up. Dowden is a sad little man, remember when he quit last time? When he himself said: "I'm not up to the job"? Well, Tory HQ replied: "Sounds like you're overqualified for our government, but sod it, do you want another job?". I believe that's also why Porciophile Dave is back as Foreign secretary, though he needs to be careful because all his "mates" want to deport everything "foreign" to Rwanda. Oh well, at least they'll give him 2 grand I suppose.
“As ever, the Deputy Leader is always looking to attack other’s failures”. I think Oliver Dowden’s brain to mouth thing decided to go for an early tea break at that moment. 😂🤦🏾♂️
Right to buy, in isolation, is a fine policy. However after this policy was introduced, there were fuck all new council houses built despite the profits.
Which is why we should be building more council (not housing association) homes, which can be bought only under Right-To-Buy, with the money raised ring-fenced to the next round of homes...
She is right about housing. The Tories haven't fixed anything and this legislation today is unlikely to change anything. Renting is diabolical at the moment, an undersupply and a landlords' market, and with interest rates up, housing prices are falling but not low enough to make it easier to buy a house because mortgage rates are up. Anyone facing eviction is at a very real risk of becoming homeless.
@@ozzie2612 where do I start.... firstly, she was awarded a council house after becoming pregnant whilst still at school! secondly, she's rather partial to other people's husbands! # Great role model. eh? 😉
i gave a better discription of the truth and even tho it says we can say things that are ttrue about polititions .youtube gave me a warning about what a certain tory up to withillegal brazilian boys for higher and marching powder .thats right rather than point the crime out you tube thinks im the one in the wrong and it's me who should be silenced.
No need to judge myself! There are no skeletons in my closet! 😂 Oh, and I've never defrauded the tax man! 😂 I've never stolen another person's husband either! 😂
