Highlights from Canada Soccer's Men's National Team's Concacaf Nations League Play-In match to qualify for the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024 against Trinidad and Tobago in Frisco, Texas.
How do they not show Shafellburgs strike off the post? Certainly a highlight. This guy has the heart we need. Davies, Shaffelburg and Liam Miller down the left side would have so much speed in a 4-3-3
"Shaffelburg... he does it again"!!! Within 25 minutes of playing, he managed to score a goal and hit a goal post. How many goals would Shaffelburg be a part of if he were to play a full game? How many does he need to score in order to be eligible to play a full game? Are we ever gonna find out? Are they gonna start him from now on, or is common sense overrated?
@kevonsuckoo2815 Any striker that misses key scoring opportunities shouldn't start the next game while any player who's subbed in and scores a goal should start the next game. You then establish a healthy rotation, a competitive "edge" within each player while forcing a leveling up in terms of a striker's pregame "shots on net" warmup. If you want to establish a "winning" culture, that's what you do.
