The canadian championship has gone from a small, mostly irrelevant competition to something well worth watching with the introduction of the CPL, Were supposed to have 16 teams in the CPL by 2030, thats gonna be 19 professional teams! Can't wait! Happy I showed up to this game
Vancouver and Saskatoon...2023 (if all goes to plan)...that would bring it to 10 teams Laval, Quebec City, Kitchener-Waterloo, Mississauga...2026...bringing the league to 14. St. John's, Moncton, the Niagara Region, the Durham Region, Kelowna...I don't foresee any prospects in these markets. Barrie, Montreal or Saint John...If Laval gets a franchise than Montreal won't pursue for a second team...this leaves Barrie & Saint John tallying to 16 teams.
I really hope we get to have a team in New Brunswick, would only be our third pro team in the province with Moncton and Saint John having their pro basketball team. Moncton Could have a market, the city is always becoming more and more vibrant with international cultures, and I saw that city rise in support for the Magic as they became champions of the Canadian pro basketball league 2 years ago. Of course i'm just daydreaming rn, but being a millionaire I'd see this as a good investment project
@@soccersy1983 thats what happens when nothing is done during the transfer market period. you guys kept the same team since 2016 and never replaced giovinco or altidore. Its not fun to see a rival fall so low...
tru But TFC again i think this is one off .. all because or Armas Perez isn't a fitted coach... a good coach some squad changes TFC gonna stand different next season... Plus Toronto has something Montreal don't The MLS CUP Montreal will never win that
It’s time to expand the CanChamp to include at least 4 clubs from League 1 Ontario, the Quebec league, and the Canadian USL teams. You could give the lower seeded clubs home field to alleviate some of the costs. This tournament, as of now, is an MLS dominated thing, the least you could do is make it more fun with more teams from more leagues.
As a Timbers fan, we have incredible supporters along with Seattle and the Cascadia rivalry gets a lot of attention. Aside from that, for obvious reasons, this is my favorite rivalry in the MLS. 2016 playoffs was the best series. The fans on either side are rambunctious and loud fantastic supporters and a fun game to watch. Always exciting!!
if Montr/al didnt lose all of their attacker so early in the season, they would have made it. theres some fragility on the defensive side but the midfield is packed with talented players
@@ssk-_-dotz3773 A CPL team will win the voyagers cup eventually, They want to expand the league up to 16 teams, Mls has no market to expand into, thats gonna be 16 cpl teams facing off against 3 Mls teams, its coming
it's not fair to hold just one game on Montreal ' s field only. Or it should be played on neutral field - in Edmonton for example . But anyway congrats to Montreal .
What a way to grow the fan base. A Canadian Championship not on a major TV channel. Seriously this is pathetic. Happy my Montreal Impact FC won this final.
They got lucky as Forge FC should have knocked them out in the semi we were the better team to bad but happy to say we lost to the Champions congrats 👏
I expected more from Schafelburg, he did great against Pacific, Tbf he was positioned right next to the section 127 ultras and we gave him a bad time whenever he touched the ball, lmao, good kid.
Your commentators are so bad... They are not entertaining, they're speaking when they should not, they do not create emotions... Please change them while we can't watch the games on another platform.
I've been saying this for the past 3 years OneSoccer commentators are robotic and too scripted using American colloquialisms. What the hell is "A Montreal Master Class!?!"
