One of the best performances i’ve seen in years from the boys in green, all credit to the lads ! Obafemi was fantastic, the future is bright and hopefully this win will have a big impact #COYBIG 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
So many anti Kenny fans out there hope this shut them up. If anyone can’t see he’s getting the absolute best out of a very average Ireland side on paper they are clueless. He’s doing that while developing a progressive style of play. Coybig
Obafemi: Blistering shots, silky touches, Nigerian descent, London accent, born in Dublin (briefly stayed) hung like a bairns airm, about as Irish as Mandela.
@@cringycook9597 Germany had come off the back as WC champions, compared to Italy who‘s side was mediocre. Yes their form was rising whilst Germany‘s was falling, but on paper 2015 takes the biscuit.
i have to admit.. the assist and the goal from Obafemi was nothing short of world class and the teams commitment was nothing short of 100%.. good luck to them in the future..
One of our own Obafemi. I know you will do very well and I am so proud of the footballer you've grown to be become. Nobody sees the talent you possess before shipping you off to Swansea. Southampton FC needs to you back for next season. Well done and all the best 👍(Afritopia)
I am Argentine and whenever I can I see the Scottish League highlights. The team I am a fan of, Independiente de Avellaneda, has a very special link to Scotland because of St Andrew Scot School. Also, Craig Gordon has always been a reference for me as goalie. On the other hand, I have always been in love with Ireland, its culture, its history and even the colors of its kit. Perhaps today I am no longer called up but since 2008 I have been following Shane Long and I have not missed a single game in Ireland. Maybe he is not Lewandowsky, but damn, I like that guy, so nice and humble. Now is Obafemi time.
Hope he gives the swans, One more season,as we believed In him, and nobody else did, Also good luck forest , Steve Cooper will keep you up, The yanks were to blame for letting him go.👍👌👏🏐⚽🐏
They’re trying things now that they’d not have been allowed to try during previous managerial regimes, right back to the early and mid 1980’s. And because they’re feeling supported by the manager and his off field team, the more they try to do, the more they’ll succeed. They’re not the finished article by any manner or means but they’re working towards it very nicely indeed.
cracks me up.. This play the ball out of the back crap and then around the 4min mark of the video after almost getting scored on they take a goalkick pass and score. hilarious
This result was a false dawn and bought Kenny another 17 months in the job, where zero progress was made. In retrospect, Ireland would have been better served had they LOST this match 3-0.
@@davidbroadley126 so he wasn't at fault for any of the goals. Wasn't standing stating at the ball for the first after duffy out it back across goal. Didn't let the man run off him for the second. Or didn't let the cross come in for the goal that got chopped. Did I say Billy Gilmour dome anything he was pish as well haha
@@barryhenderson2732 wat about hanley hendry and mckenna duffy out jumped them every time your just having a go at Ralston cos hes a celtic player at least ralston tried to attack down the right hand side there was worse than him on the park
It's embarrassing. United fans booing him and Liverpool fans booing McTominnay. They can't even leave their bandwagoning on foreign clubs at international games.
@@HMFCEdit honestly i deeply respect and appreciate ireland but we should be winning a match like this every time. we have far too much talent to have it wasted by one or two players who arent even working. steve clarkes tactics are shambolic too. but the irish outplayed us and absolutely deserved that win but scotland needs a deep look at itself
All though Obafemi's goal and assist were great you have to realize that Ireland was playing Scotland a nation that hasn't been any good in football since the 1900s.
